First time I have been at this channel. Love the angle that you are doing the review, especially the VRM thermals, this is not something I usually see. That is what I am actually looking for right now before I buy a Z590 board.
Good looking board! I'm sad that we lose the top M.2 because that is usually where the heatsinks are, but with z590 they are usually more covered up. I'd like to get one to pair with a 10850k.
I just snagged this thing from bh for $289. Coming from a i5 3570k (which still holds up really well) with an rx 580 and a z77 ds3h (I dual boot OS X/windows). This thing is definitely overkill for me but I just wanted something that will last and that I can oc in the future to keep it going further. It’s been 10 years since I built my last rig and I think things have finally gotten good enough to warrant an upgrade. I just hope that I shouldn’t wait for alder lake lol.
Lol I got it for 220$ and I think its steal for that amount of money. Paired it with i5 11600KF, 2x8GB Kingston Fury Beast RGB and used GTX 1070 Ti. So far Im very happy with it and Im currently enjoying every second of using it! I also came from Ivy Bridge(i5 3470) and It was okey but I felt like I needed a new PC, especially because I have a lot of free time lately because of my new job.
@@pels5212 Different board altogether. Wireless/Bluetooth and a $300 pricetag makes me cringe. I paid $89 for my board and have it hardwired and stuck my tiny bluetooth usb ($10). You can pick up a WiFi 6 card for $40 and have all the same stuff for less than half the cost. All purchases of tech come down to what you want to do and who you want to impress with your rig. Me personally, I am not impressing anybody but my banker...lol. I'm all for getting in and out for the best bang for buck.
Is it worth .... 140$? Even though it's a gigabyte I bought this against my better judgement. When it arrives, and an 11900k and 3090 suprim x are testing their mettle well have to see how it goes

No you can't use an AMD processor in an Intel motherboard. You would need one of the AMD boards like X570, B550
