Former barista here: Don’t let your espresso shots sit, mix them with something ASAP like milk or something .... they are not supposed to sit for more then 10 secs because they will taste bitter. Maybe that will help 🤪
is that why baristas are always making coffee so quick??
True!! If you let your shots sit, we call that a “dead” shot. It makes the shot taste bitter and it also the longer you keep them out the less caffeinated they are.

Former barista here🙋🏻♀️ espresso only lasts about 9 seconds after you brew it, so you need to pour it into milk quickly. If your espresso is turning out bitter, it’s either because you didn’t pour it quick enough or because you need to clean your machine 😊 Enjoy your coffee!

Hi! High School Teacher here who just finished her masters. Professors don't explain that with presentations, the requirements for powerpoints differ from presentations. This being that you will have an overwhelming amount of information to cover the points but when actually presenting, its best to forward the presentation to the class and hit main points for your argument. I usually tell my students that it is not necessary to hit every point within your powerpoint, but a brief about each is sufficient. your opening and concluding remarks are usually where you will catch your audience's attention! Also, if it helps, I always practice how long each slide takes by recording audio for each slide (easily done on either google slides or powerpoint), the aim is about 20- 45 sec per slide. Your audience will most likely focus on any chart/ graph/ or statistic on the page and not the information. You can also write a script at the note section of the bottom of the slide page too. Sorry for the bombardment of information, but I know how stressful presentations are and figured this may help!
