My build is very similar to yours with some slight differences, but yeah solid deck :)
I also went for Alfred Exiv for the same reasons because I owned him and I didn't want to drop the cash on Oath :P
Gablade is handy to have at times for the "On Hit" pressure as well as letting you preserve your Counter Blasts for other skills :D

My deck consist of 2 Galehalt/KoKAlfred since I dont have Alfred Exiv or Oath, since New Blaster Lew will drop this August. As for the PGs, I run Holy Knight Guardian since she does the same as Epona, plus I perfer her than Epona :/ .
Could anyone answer? : I haven't played the game since BT16 (Legion booster) and I have noticed that so many people no longer play 8 Grade 3s. WHY???
With the addition of triple drive, finding your grade 3s is much easier to find.
Also because in the current meta, the average turn will consist of 4 or more attacks, having more shields in your hand is more important than it was 2 years ago.

I prefer the swordsman of light stuff so I just used this to upgrade my old Alfred deck. It can pull of some stupidly strong combos.
Do you run Exceed in the deck?
+Richard Gilroy I've been trying it with and without. I don't have oaths or exivs yet so I like using the ezzell/Alfred legion but I like having the extra blaster blade cards so it's a difficult choice right now. I wouldn't want to ride exceed though.

in my apenion I like the legend starter is good it searches Alfred
Sure, but Wingal doesnt require a counterblast, isn't GB restricted so you can use it before you stride, and can fix your ride chain if you get grade locked.
Wingal is more optimal.
Ryan Silver ok so wingal is better overall and barcgal is good for ppl who don't own wingal I don't own it so I'm a barcgal scrub

It's not great for a deck like this and overall is not a great card in the current game in general

I guess, but the goal is to not Ride Alfred. And with Wingal Brave, you should never be in a situation where you’re forced to ride Alfred.

run 2 holy saver atleast for linn foyer match up
12 crits is better. g3 lineup is up to personal preference but oath is slightly better. you dont run the Alfred crit soo according to your friends since you dont run triggers with skills You're Bad™.
Tried 12 crit, didn't like it. Also, the Belinus crit > Alfred crit. So Im not gonna spend money to find Alfred crits because they're bad. And Im not gonna spend money on Belinus crits either.

Personally I rather run 3 stride folder than 3 marrons for just stride consistency since u are running 6 g3s also I am planning on just doing 3 crit margals when it comes out and either 1 altmile crit or g3 alfed crit skill and max exiv. Also I agree with alfred oath comment its just stupid I'm okay with putting in a deck for alfred g3s only but just not exceed decks wastes soul for myriad for the budget/newcomer players using the legend deck and don't see why people run it when exiv or hell even either kok alfred or early is better putting in a exceed deck at 2 than oath for its 1k higher base then the last 2 alfreds mention and oath's gb2 skill to get 21k max if full rgs on your field is easy but tricky depending on what u are playing against which exiv is better for consistency for going 20k until boosted

Theres no inconsistency in striding since Exceed's stride skill searches for Grade 3s and adds them to your hand.
If anything, I would drop the Alfred for Stride Fodders if you "really" wanna run them.

yeah with exceed stride skill it's easier to stride but it's better safe than sorry since once u out of exceeds to grab from deck u got to pitch 2 if u don't have any other g3s to discard for striding
Hopefully the game is over before you run out of stride fodder.
I haven't been unable to stride so far with this build, so it feels pretty consistent.
@Richard Gilroy Np man still find everyone silly even using it besides waste space for non-full g3s alfred decks since nothing else better to run in them besides either mlb or exiv since u are bound to run 4 g2 blaster blades in exceed for g3s alfred decks since there is decent stuff for them involving alfred other one I think is okay or alright to put with it is exiv. Also u better hope u finish the game before then by rushing hard like the annoying seven seas

Up to 16
16. I like to go for four or five g guardians so that leaves at least eleven stride units.
You could always have ran more than 6 gguards before, it was just not necessary at the time.

I don't like the Alfred crit cuz it only works when you're on grade 3, so its a vanilla the majority of the game.

I'd still rather keep the 10k shield in hand rather than drop it and unflip 1 damage at the most.
Blaster Friend Barcgal states "When a unit named Blaster Blade" not "when a unit with blaster blade in it's name" meaning it wouldn't work with exceed is my understanding

You also misinterpreted what was said. The countercharge for Barcgal requires a Blaster Vanguard. Which is why "Barcgal's ability works when you have Exceed" being the Vanguard.
I never said "when a unit with Blaster Blade is placed" for Barcgal's skill. Just saying.

Alfred Exiv would never work in this deck he can only gain 1000 Atk for each rearguard you have if they were seekers, and counterblast only works without a seeker in its card name, and the legion only work with Blaster Blade Seeker in its card name, so it doesn't make sense how come guys ???????!!!
Alfred Exiv can legion with both Blaster Blade Seeker and Blaster Blade. Also, alfred can still gain the critical when you are in legion and have five rearguards. Remember to read your cards.

Ohh sorry I'm kinda new and I'm trying to learn to, so I download an app named as duel masters and so it was written in Alfred Exiv that it can Legion with blaster blade seeker, so then when u told me that, I went to google images and saw Alfred Exiv card, so sorry because of my stupidity :(
