Called and spoke with an Alpinestars sales rep and they said that this "regular" V4 version was not coming to the US, only the airflow version. When asked "why", he stated that "in the past the airflow version outsold it and that this version would only be available in the European market". He also stated that "the jacket can still be purchased, but it would have to be from a European retailer that carries it". Don’t shoot the messenger. That’s what I was told by the Alpinestars sales rep.
Awesome review, but couldn’t they get you the right size jacket for the demonstration?!? I was feeling bad for you having to squeeze into it like 10 pounds of bologna in a 1 pound bag!!! However, you always give outstanding, easy to understand product reviews, thanks. 😅👍
Hey man! I’m a new rider and I actually just picked up this jacket. I do need some pants though. I’m looking for great protection without hurting the wallet too much. Any recommendations? Since it’s not a one piece I’ll need pants that go over the jacket

This jacket fits the style of my Ducati Monster SP, Perfectly, However, that "Nucleon" armor is about as impact sustainable as a single pancake. Definitely need to upgrade that flimsy Armor.
@@SpeedAddictsTV It may be more flexible, but my eyes don’t lie, just look at it, it’s as floppy as a crêpe, and your elbow will suffer with the Kinetic energy of a fall. Better than nothing, of course, but it needs to be replaced with CE 2, at least, especially in the elbow. It’s simply cost cutting at the expense of Safety.
These videos are absolutely what i need before buying and a great way to promote, keep it up and thank you

How warm will this keep me with the thermal liner
The thermal liner works great. But depending on where you are riding and the weather conditions, plus personal preference, it can vary greatly.

The Nucleon armor is definitely better than the bulky foam that used to be in jackets. Way too stiff! Thanks for watching!
