The Super Robo fusions. Both can be tagged out for their counterpart. Nothing was ever done with them but it's always felt like there was a whole deck worth of untold lore behind them.
This! Also retrain Acrobat Monkey and Cyber Commander for the same archetype
I actually created a bunch of custom cards based on them! I added "enhanced", and linked them and their support with the "always treated as a 'rare metal' card".
Cyber Commander and Kozaki are part of their lore too.

Some more Celtic Guardian/Mystical self cards could be fun, standard elves are pretty underrepresented in a game that started off with all the fantasy themes.

Zera the Mant needs a memento card. It already has a skeleton body so would fit really well in the archetype as a boss monster.
I want more Warrior of Zera cards to make an archetype. Make more alternate fates like a king of Zera (Earth/Warrior) or Phantom of Zera (Illusion).
Yeah Warrior of Zera has enough lore behind him that isn’t backed up by any coherent archetype
We see him join the Archlords and then fall to become a Darklord
Or he falls into Pandemonium and becomes Mazera Deville
And then Zera the Mant is just…kinda there, all the other Zera cards at least *do* something, but there isn’t anything to tie the cards together like Warrior Dai Grepher or the Forbidden maiden (who herself became a Darklord so maybe we can even see them together)
Cosmo Queen. Maybe a way to make the Alien archetype more viable, especially with the A-counters

Vishwar Randi and Succubus Knight, used them a ton in the sacred cards and would love to see a rework with an archetype deck based on them. Even a small engine would be nice.

As a kid I always favored Neo the magic swordsman, I noticed a newer card called Trance the magic swordsman.. spellcasters warriors types I hope Konami does something with that

I just want em to revamp Panik's monsters into an illusion deck, and Bonz's monsters a modern zombie deck
They should flesh out SealMaster Meisei, he already has a spell and trap to his name, a deck themed around a single normal monster with spell and trap support might be a cool concept

For the Toons, they could call it a Manga archetype. I never understood why Ryu Ran was the only exception to the Toon naming convention.
Memento and Chimera are some of the coolest ways Konami has done legacy support. And with the new Metalmorph cards, it seems they're on a roll.

The tech Wolf needed to create Labyrinth tank obviously. Only because getting struck by lightning is Canon to some storyline somewhere
Sanwhich (someone correct the spelling on this one) the fusion for Sangan and Witch of the Black Forest always felt lacking for two searchers in a Fusion set
Metal dragon was always pretty cool. Instant Fusion could probably bring out a lot of weird fusions to the light
Dark Rabbit but its actually a Toon that can discard itself to add a spell which mentions "Toon" in its text. Possibly a GY effect that banishes itself to allow all Toon Monsters you control too attack during this turn.
They always remember the black rabbit but never the Toon Aligator...
I think we need some effect retrains of the inpachi monsters, something to add to their lore, maybe make a "Dark world Inpachi" which fully ties it into it's lore and makes it playable. "If this card is discarded by card effect; you can discard 2 cards, including a dark world card, and draw 2 cards"
I hope that Konami revamps some of the other Level 4 monsters with special summon effects that Yuma used in the anime and manga to have more powerful effects that specifically support his archetype.
Some great ones I can think of are Goblindbergh, Kagetokage, and Dynatherium. Maybe they could even make these and some Gagaga revamps into a Gagagaga archetype that focuses on ONLY summoning Number F0.
Musician king, kinda love that he’s a reference to Black Sabath and Judas Priest with his fusion materials, maybe make a deck based around rockstars and their groupies as their fusion materials, haven’t seen a contact fusion deck in a while.
Zera the mant, with an effect supporting the coming metalmorph cards
The flame swordsman material, fire type warriors, Joey's underdog deck is best
Frog the Jam. Make it part of the “frog” archetype just to spite those *except Frog the Jam* cards

They did a retrain of Sengenjin so i'm pretty happy, but Master Of Oz, would be an interesting retrain, especially if they make it so you just need 2 generic beast monsters.
La Jinn Mystical Genie of the Lamp, a deck centered around direct attacks and redirecting attacks to other monsters. The lamp monsters can be pendulums to search, summon, and support La Jinn.
I'm still waitin for the true Dark Scorpions retrains 💯

I would like dharma to get its own archetype that goes well with Karma cannon.
I've always wanted cards that are redesigned monsters that Panik used. They're effects could be something to do with thier odd attack points, or when Castle of Dark Illusions hits the field.
For like five years, I've been trying to base archetypes around King Tiger Wanghu and the OG Beast cards (Leogun, Garvas, Ancient One of the Deep Forest, Firewing Pegasus, Super War Lion).

Water Omotics would be interesting to see plus I wanted new art for a long time.
I’m still praying for a Fury from the Deep Structure Deck R with a retrain of “Ocean Dragon Lord - Neo-Daedalus” with possibly an easier summon condition and possibly a banishing instead of destroying effect. The deck could also include retrains of older “Umi” related cards that didn’t get the retrain when the Kairyu-Shin stuff came out.

I feel like it would be cool if they made a retrain of Summoned Skull that actually does something. I know they made one for the new Yugi cards but even that one isn’t that good.
I'd start with the monsters that could attack directly, like Leghul, Jinzo #7, etc. I had an idea for all these different Flame Swordsman that had different effects based on the colors...White Flame Swordman = Synchro, Black = Xyz, even green for spells and purple/violet for fusion/trap, etc. I also wanted them to be Pendulums so you can Pendulum Summon the full spectrum

Memento and chimera are some of Konami’s actually good archetypes in recent releases. These decks are fun and balanced. It really allows for some decent skill expression from the player. Definitely should be thing they do more often
I have like, 4 or 5 cards for a “Wingweaver” series of cards I would kill to make. It centers on her being a Link 4 that wins you the game if enough monsters are in the banished zone, cause she takes them to heaven you see.
A remake of the OG Elemental HREOs those vanilla cards deserve some love.

Another retrain of twin headed thunder dragon, to honor forbidden memories. It resembles it's anime version, and can be fusion summoned using any thunder monster + effect monster and has multiple effects
Attacking a dragon monster and destroying it enables it to have a sixth sense effect
Destroying a dark monster enables you to have a delinquent duo effect
Fairywitch was upgraded in more than just her text. Angwitch is very pretty

I always wanted Celtic Guardian to make an archetype (we really need an elf based archetype regardless) so I vote him. As for his effect, let him pop a Memento on field or in hand to summon. Then on field he can shuffle a Memento card from grave and mill one with a different name. This allows weird garnets like Ghattic or Mace to be recycled for later in the combo and gives the deck an extender which it desperately needs.

I dunno what the effect would be in modern Yugioh...but I would LOVE to see retrains of the Gemini Elves, Thunder Nyan Nyan and Mystical Elf/Dark Elf

I would to see an archetype comprised of retrains of yugi's classic cards (Dark Magician, Black Luster Soldier, Gaia, Buster Blader, Magnet Warriors, Big Shield Gardna, Gazelle, Celtic Guardian, Curse of Dragon etc.)
Or maybe one with retrains of kaiba's classic cards (Blue Eyes, Vorce Raider, Spear Dragon, Kaiser Seahorse, Giant Germ etc.)

They should make a Kaiju style jelly beans man archetype.. when these monsters battle jelly beans man they instantly get destroyed and burn for their attack
