One of the best interviews ALI G done
Even he was trying to stop laughing at the end
You can't be the victim of a character like Ali G if you're just earnestly a good guy
Off to find more vids of Tony Benn. Booyakasha!
That's what you call playing with a straight bat! Good on you Tony, gone but not forgotten.
Best Ali G interview ever LOOOOL
A politician with principles, RIP Tony Benn.
Tony England he sounds kind of like an idiot who lives in a fantasy world where lazy people who don’t abuse the welfare system don’t exist
the poor deserve to be compensated for outsourcing and mass immigration
@@paulandrews952 You think lazy people don't abuse the capitalist system? Most of the super-rich in this country have never done a hard days work in their lives.
Love Tony. R.I.P - from Malaysia
Benn was a different class. Moved way beyond junior common room politics unlike many pols. An intellectual who'd have a pint with anyone and seek common ground. Faced down fascists.
His wartime experience affected him greatly. He remembered the Blitz, one of his brothers was killed in action and he was trained to fly a Spitfire.
Absolutely quality great video
I think this is the 1st time I've seen Ali G actually break a smile when doing these interviews. Why was that? because I think he had 'respect' for Tony Benn and rightly so too.
Wow, Mr. Benn handled Ali G's off-the-wall questioning astonishingly well, and actually comes out on top by the end. One can even see in Cohen's expressions that he knows he's getting, as the young people say, 'pwned.'
RIP Tony Benn. A class act!
Tony Benn legend laughed his head off at the end of the interview.
I swear i cant go on a single bloody video without this warriorprince101010 showing up and saying something hilariously fictitious
Tony Benn, Decency & Integrity Personified 🙏
RIP Tony Bann . A true humanitarian and man of integrity xxx sad day xxx
From time to time I travel pass Tony Benn house in Bristol and wonder how we have sunk so far in the standard of those who rule us. He was a man, like Bevan who was imbued with what socialism is about, fairness. I wish the rest of our rulers gave that term a good think.
Ah yes socialism is about fairness. That's why we've seen so much fairness in North Korea, The USSR, China, The national socialist party in 1940's Germany... 😂
The deplorable conditions in the countries you list demonstrate that it is false to label them as 'socialist'. You know full well that they are generally considered to be 'fascist'.@@liamcraddock9539
Holy Molly - this 'interview' is so relevant in 2024
LOVE this. Tony Benn. What a complete legend.
Dave Long Whatever!
One of the funniest yet insightful clips ever, so cleverly constructed by Sacha Baron Cohen and counteracting with Tony Benns wisdom.
Tony Benn, my favourite MP, unlike the expenses champions 🏆
Tony benn rest in peace.
RIP Tony Benn, never had more respect for an MP past or present
Tony Benn is the man. Should of been priminister.
