I love the Shopkins figures but I’m not a fan of the “melting” reveal packaging. I think it would be a very big mess with my children doing it. But, other than that, I love them.
The water can actually get over saturated with the melted packaging making it harder to melt. They are meant to be opened one at a time with fresh water each time

I got my daughter one of these today and I found that if you kind of rub the bag while it's in the water it melts quicker. Also she got the breyers cheesecake ice cream and the crayon popsicle and just loves them!

I like these, but I don't like that Shopkins just jumped on the 'water reveal' bandwagon. I especially don't like toys that want you to dissolve something in the water, because it just doesn't seem safe to dump the resulting slime down the drain.
If I were into shopkins, I'd get a nice, small antique, glass bowl and put all my little ice creams in it. Except for the one who came in a bowl. (S)he'd sit beside it ^-^.
I love morning star veggie mini corn dogs. I’ll eat either but prefer to not have my food on a wooden stick due to allergies. Ps.... yes I’m a vegetarian by choice due to dietary issues and preferences so it’s nice to find “normal food”.
Some people think the melting package is pointless and that may be so but the company's send these to them so they can show them to the world and get other opinions so I think they should open as intended
