I live in Arlington five minutes from Greens Produce. I love Greens I will not buy my Vegetables anywhere else. They offer so many things, you can shop there for hours. If you liked it today go in the fall, that’s my favorite time to go. I always get my pecans and sweet potatoes there for pecan pie and sweet potato casserole. The store is always clean and organized. I have been going there for so many years and have never been disappointed. I have often wondered what I would do if they should close. I pray that never happens. I love Greens Produce!

They always have nice tomatoes, avocados and good watermelons. Also thats the only place I can get Pecos melons when they are in season. Real Sweet!
Now this is what I'm talking about a good fruit and veggie market. The fruit looked delicious and the prices for various items were fair. I think you strike gold. LOL ..TYFS. Be blessed.
What stood out to me was those vibrant bell peppers even on video those were some of the best looking bell peppers. I would be like a kid in a candy store in there. Speaking of candy i probably would have gotten the sour balls and the cherry ones and the cashews. If that was my first time my buggy would have been full. Good vid as always thanks for taking us along.

I grew up in Pantego. Used to go to Greens and another place on Parl Row in Pantego called Vicks. Long time ago. Glad they are still around.

Hey Chef- that was me who told you about Green's & the Mayhaw jelly! ☺Next time you go, look up near the top & above the Texas Olive Oils- on the right was where I saw the Mayhaw I believe. It was pretty close to the Muscadine. That day I grabbed the Stutzman's Pantry brand Muscadine that was 19oz & only has 4 ingredients. That refrigerated case to the right when you walk in past the onions has the good assortment of peas- Creamer, Blackeyed, Purple Hull......go about halfway down & you'll see them! I've been going a LOT lately to get those good tomatoes for BLT's. We've only got a few more weeks to get them in season! I'm so happy you love the place so much- I knew you would! My son & I LOVE cherry sours by the way! Oh- they also have fried pies up front- Mindy Lu's but also another brand from a different company. Apricot is my fave! Thanks for sharing your 2 mile road trip LOL- it is close to me as well. Next time also grab you a couple Dublin bottled sodas! They are in 2 different spots- chilled & room temp. 😋

Jeff man when you rolled up on that cut water melon table, I was back in the 70s and 80s.
That S&H green stamp signed caused me remember all of the good things we were able to redeem them stamps for in the south. S&H offered a catalog for their products and like cash we would save for items.
Those were some good days.

Good Morning Chef Jeffrey! Do you ever go to the international grocery shopping in Arlington? The Asian groceries? The Middle Eastern grocery (Halal) across the street? In Halthom City is Ngyuen Loi Asian Market. That's a gem. In Cleburne, down the tollway from Fort Worth is a raw milk dairy and an old fashioned health food store. Because the university is there. The health food store is like Whole Foods was in the 1980s!

I wish I knew how she made it. Still to this day I keep asking as asking still have not gotten it yet. 😂 She keeps telling me one day she is going to surprise me and make it. I'm still waiting 😂
