I loved this! I custom designed every piece of our invitation suite so I can't wait to see what my photographer comes up with for our flat lay shots! Your invitations were so bright and creative! This makes me even more excited for my wedding in 23 days!

That's great attention to detail to bring stamps! I would've never thought about that

I definitely recommend if brides used cute stamps for their envelopes to save some unused ones for their photographer :) Vintage stamps are also so beautiful for these photos!

This is such a cool video! I love seeing what goes into these styling shots, it's so interesting 😊 I've also personally designed our invite suite, and have had custom stamps made for it, I absolutely can't wait to see what our photographer does with ours

I love the bright colors and the macaron ring boxes! Do you ever include save the dates in the invitation suite flat lay pictures? Or take pictures of them separately? Or do people just not get those photographed as much for the wedding?

I prefer to shoot them separately unless they match the invites perfectly. Otherwise they tend to stick out, especially if there are photos on them. I make a mini flatlay for them separately. :)

Hi, I loved this! I'm also very particular about flat lays and are my favorite things to look at in a photographer's portfolio. I feel like my photographer doesn't use risers and it does add a lot to the photo. Where can I get some? Not finding much on amazon. How can I also bring it to my details box for my photographer without offending her, but being more like "hey you might wanna use these"

You can get them on Etsy! I would approach them on the wedding morning and say "I'm so excited about my invitation flatlay. I got these cool risers that I saw online that you could use to put under the paper pieces so they have cool shadows and dimension. I saw someone do it in a video and thought it looked so cool! I thought you might want to play around with some." Hopefully they will just see how excited you are.

Love this video, thank you ! I’m a new florist and love learning about all things wedding just so I can be as helpful as possible for my clients 🤓
My question is when you ask the florist for flowers, do you purchase them or does that cost get added into the bride’s quote ? You mentioned 7-15 flowers and that is basically how many flowers come in a bridesmaid bouquet and can be very costly 😬 How can I be helpful to my fellow vendors but not lose money at the same time ? 🤔 Caterers also always ask for extra flowers. I create flower recipes for all my designs/arrangements so not much is left over, which helps me stick to my budget 🤓 Any tips/ advice would be greatly appreciated !

Hi! I think the florists I work with tend to budget for styling flowers in their upfront costs to the bride whether they think of it ahead of time or these are part of the wedding day leftovers - so they are definitely getting paid for. They might not technically put it on the invoice but these flowers would be part of their "extra" flowers they have set aside for filling in centerpieces on the day of and things like that. Basically those flowers that are hanging around in the buckets on the wedding day and are used to fill in and that's normally what they pull from to give me styling flowers. Some florists will give me like 4 flowers and a little greenery and some are very generous and give me 10+ flowers and greenery and I love that! Of course, a florist could always tell me no and then I would just forage at the venue for some greenery and flowers lol - or bring silks.

@@cavinelizabeth Ok, that makes sense. I think I have a better idea of how I can do this now 🤔 I really love how your channel talks about all vendors. This way we can all better understand each other. I’ve learned SO much and I appreciate all the great information 🥰
