    First time seein this dude, and he is really athletic, and seems to have range. He's got amazing potential...and hopefully he stays healthy. It would suck to see him get injured.

    back when he played middleschool, our team played his team and the night before the game, the whole practice was dedicated to taking a charge so he could get in foul trouble...it only worked once. :p

    like he said, the raleigh atmosphere is great for ballin. as long as it aint too bad you can celebrate somethin, especially when the refs themselves are amazed.

    Years ago N.C. State produced a player named David Thompson who became an all star. He was a pioneer of the game because of his leaping ability and was Michael Jordan's favorite player as a youth. Rodney's game has some similarity to Thompson's.

    This makes no sense. They say he's a 6'5" point guard going to Louisville, but he's actually a 6'3" UConn bound point guard. The title and description don't match

    @datngapat You can correct me if i'm wrong but I believe Amare Stoudemire was 19 when he played highschool ball. From what i've noticed from watching the top prospects in highschool basketball, you will find that there are a few 19 yr olds in every class.

    Purvis has the talent and potential. He's similar to Archie Goodwin though he isn't ballin like Arch is right now. He needs to stop settling for three's, take it to the rack and finish!

  • @iwontlose187
    @iwontlose187 13 років тому

    @datngapat I understand what you are saying but that is not what I was getting at. I only said Amare as an example because he was 19 as a senior (would you rather I have said Lenny Cook?). Yes him being a LOT older than his competion gives him an advantage physically and skill wise. My point was that he wouldn't be the 1st top prospect to play against competition that is significantly younger.

    @tastycajun0381 Yes, college admissions officers pursue the best academic talent from the best high schools. At Columbia, varsity athletes were off the team if they failed to maintain a C+ academic average or better.
