I saw the movie 3 times and never realize Holly was a twin. I enjoyed the interactions of the brothers and how Holly brought them closer
One of my favorite movies, soo sweet!
I enjoyed the movie a lot. I couldn't get over how much Sean Farris (Mark Nolan) looks just like Tom Cruise. I never read the books. So it didn't matter to me if they didn't follow her books exactly. I loved the two brothers too. Sam and Alex. I believe they switched their names for this movie. I now would like to read the books.
This was such a beautiful story and the movie couldn't be any sweeter. Loved it!

This is a great movie, Sean Faris did an Amazing job in this role! And I didn't know the little girl was a twin, she and her sister are adorable and we're great and professional actors in this movie! ^_^
Almost all child actors are twins, as it makes filming easier due to child labor laws...the girls who play Holly starred in the HBO series boardwalk empire

I love this movie, it was so good, so sweet, and I believe with a decent story, compare to a lot of movies of this type.

Just so everyone knows, this movie does not accurately portray Friday Harbor, WA. In fact, this movie was filmed in nova scotia, Canada. I actually happen to live in Friday Harbor, and it looks nothing like it does in this movie. Also, our ferries have roofs and the ferry landing isn't a little patch of dirt.
glad you told us that.... one of my goals was to come see Friday harbor for myself... I would have been disappointed seeing it didnt match the movie... bet Friday harbor is beautiful though
