I think that was one of the issues Diana had as well. Women see Disney movies and they think the Princess is the beautiful star, and the prince is just there. It's a misconception that Harry is a better rider than William. Harry is a reckless rider and is frequently accused of abusing his polo ponies. One of the pictures you included shows Harry brutally reining his horse beyond all necessity. He's a nasty bully and should be banned from polo.
He is a complete embarrassment as a man. But as a royal, a PRINCE....he has brought complete shame upon his entire family. This saga will not end well for him, unfortunately. He couldn't have chosen a more scandalous, inappropriate female as his wife. They are equally despicable, disgraceful, distasteful, and disgusting. And much like his Uncle and the woman he shunned his duty for, his legacy and ending will be a tragedy.
I suspect he has always had unrepentant arrogance and privilege. I can not stand him and his wife. What I will say is that his outrageous cruelty is in fact a product of his family enabling his poor behavior.

I recall accounts of Diana telling Harry he would make the better king. She called him “Good King Harry.” (That wasn’t fair, imo, but she wanted him to feel important). I remember when King Charles (then Prince Charles) tried to set Harry up with a farm and agriculture. Harry wasn’t interested. I recall years before that, hearing that H would have screaming fits that only Prince William could calm. Just three arbitrary examples that appear in the biographies. I think the family tried. I'd argue that he still isn't actually *facing* consequences. Although he lost some of the perks of being a royal, it seems like he's willing to blame others for that. I'd also argue that it wasn't Diana's fault, but those who were around him after his mom died. Feeling sorry for him, they allowed him to misbehave without consequence - for decades. Even his engagement and marriage was allowed to proceed without much scrutiny. It's doubtful he'll ever grow up. He and his handler are perpetual victims.

According to a lot of people, including Diana’s butler, she was less strict with Harry, and faced very little consequences for his actions. He may be more compliant in terms of "following the rules" but does he strike you as a happy man? The reports of his rages, his significant consumption of alcohol, the allegations of forms of abuse against Catherine. While he might consider Harry a toxic relative he needs to shed, and his obvious and literal disdain for Meghan-- which he does not hide-- this is not a man at peace, a man serene in his decisions. It's almost a lost cause to believe this family can claim moral high ground, has any true and genuine empathy or compassion (classism involves a whole set of norms, behaviors, understandings...) and they pretty much do as they please--policing and enforcing from within, rather than bowing toward any standard ideas about morality. It doesn't matter whose designer clothes they doff or how many ribbons they cut or how deeply they bow to the monarch and other dignitaries. Their patterns are as royalty has always been. And those in power get to write history.

His claim that he is the spare in case William needs a body part or transfusion is so rediculous. They are unlikely to even be the same blood type. The purpose of the spare is to assume the role in the event of death of the heir. As sich he should have had the same education and training as William. But Harry was too dim and they didn't demand it. He was always a slacker and a brat. He is the same person now he was as a child. Always doing naghty stuff cuz he knew it would be covered over.

One thing that really bothers me when it comes to Harry is that he often acts like he's Diana's only son, like he's the only one who lost his mother. William was Diana's soulmate, she said herself that, so I think that Harry was and is still jealous of the fact that Wiliam probably knew Diana better than he did. He has so many issues, but instead of working on his issues, he decides to hurt others. I doubt that William will ever fully accept him again, he will never trust him, just like the rest of the family.

I doubt I am a compatible organ donor for her. Unless Diana and Charles used IVF and genetic engineering that some parents with a dying child do to edit and guarantee a new baby being a perfect match to their elder child… it’s unlikely Prince Harry was conceived to be an organ donor and blood donor for William.

This is Harry’s revisionist history about Diana. She was unusually attached (some might say unhealthily) to William. Of course, she adored both her boys, of course. But Harry was closer with Charles. They enjoyed a lot of the same outdoor activities and spent a great deal of time together. In fact, it was Charles that would take Harry on special outings when William was solely being included in official engagements. Charles was a much more engaged father than Harry tells now, because it doesn’t fit the narrative. Just like Thomas Sr was a good father, but now is painted like a louse.

I watched The Vintage Read review The Housekeeper's Diary written by the housekeeper who worked at Highgrove for Charles and Diana and wow, I learned so much about Diana. She would take William by herself and have dinner with him while watching TV and Harry would eat in the nursery. She not only intentionally created rifts between Charles and both sons but between the brothers. She would tell Charles they couldn't do something with him because she was taking the boys to McDonald's. As if they couldn't go watch him play polo and then they could take the boys together to McDonald's afterwards. It was wild learning, over the course of a few books, about how Diana pretended to like outdoor activities, horse riding, polo, etc. So that she's got closer to Charles and then the facade dropped after their marriage and she let it be known how miserable she was going to Balmoral and doing stuff like that. The Housekeeper says many times how she witness Charles being just as loving and affectionate towards both sons as Diana but in his own way.

It's no longer in print but Shauna from The Vintage Read here on YT and Cheere Denise, another YTer, reviewed the book and it was a huge insight into the boy's younger years and Charles and Diana's dynamic over the years of the marriage. Interesting learning about the lives of the staff and how working at Highgrove looked like from their 'behind the scenes' point of view! 😊
It also sounded more like sth a female would say. A man would complain about being choked or hit. But a chain breaking? That can easily just happening when simply jostling - they were two brothers, I’d be more surprised if there hadn’t been any physical fighting between them.
Bunker Harry as his fellow soldiers called him, spent more time in a bunker with security. His two tours never amounted to a full year deployed. He wasn’t a pilot, he never passed his test to become one. He didn’t start Invictus, he suggested it to his family after seeing what Americans were doing for their military. The family liked the idea and Prince William, Princess Catherine and King Charles helped get it started. William even donated £1 million to get it going. Has Harry donated any money? Watching her “march” in front of the veterans enrages me. I’ve NEVER seen such audacity. Ever. Her blatant disrespect for everything and everyone is unparalleled. She has to be mentally unstable. Continuing to do the things she’s doing is beyond ridiculous. I can’t even have my picture taken without feeling uncomfortable (and no selfies ever), so for her to constantly want cameras on her and selling the pics to the media makes me cringe. A former housekeeper to Diana wrote a memoir and implied William was her favourite, or at least he was more mature and could be a confidante in her unhappy marriage. William was Diana’s golden child and had her physical beauty combined with charm and perceptiveness, whereas ‘naughty’ Harry had Diana’s less noble Spencer traits - a lack of intellect and self-awareness, poor critical thinking and character judgement, pettiness, emotional volatility and cruelty (to name a few!) I can’t believe how stupid and hateful Harry is, he has destroyed his relationship with William and seems to want to play the victim. He’s so gross - he’s even ruining the memory of his beautiful mum, as well as trampling all over Wiilliam’s right to privacy about his mother and family.
Yes 100% Harry takes after his mother’s side in the emotional aspect and lack of critical thinking. Diana even worried about Harry because he was always jumping from obsession to obsession never fully being focused. I find it very sad that the latest narrative is that all Harry's many bad character traits come from Diana. Charles's side of the family has its own poor characters such as Edward VIII who was similarly led astray by his pecker's penchant for an American divorcee - he put 'love' ahead of his duty and seems to me he was a very weak man He was also a pretty nasty character and poor judge of character who cosied up to Hitler and Mussolini and plotted to take back the crown with Hitler's help. Prince Andrew is apparently also a very arrogant and entitled man.

She's like those girls in school that's nice in your face but was already plotting your downfall just because you didn't compliment her. I often say people who grew up in a good environment, don't have streets smart, well educated, and affluent will have a hard time seeing MM for who she really is. I have a sister who regards everything about her childhood as negative and as I was there as well, therefore a witness, I know the way she remembers things is based solely on her resentful nature rather than the truth. You can’t make people like that happy so it’s not worth even trying. Harry will always be miserable and resentful because it’s in his nature.

Yes, when MM sees the pics of him looking sad, I wonder what she'll do about it. I’ve said this before in other places, in other words, but - Harry’s unchosen and undeniably tragic place in history and in the public eye have left him with now obvious permanent scars (from which he is unlikely now ever to recover). The world took him into their collective hearts watching him walk behind his mother’s coffin. The British people forgave his man, MANY youthful indiscretions. Everyone cheered when he finally (apparently) came of age as a soldier and found his footing in the service of disabled veterans in the Invictus Games. However, in his disastrous choice of a demonstrably cold and calculating wife, with the eerie echoes of Oedipus, publicly investing her with all of the imaginary perfection and near mythical purity of purpose he has assigned to his mother, he now seems set on playing the part to the end, assassinating his father and brother. I believe he is now dangerously at risk for a catastrophic suicide once he has outlived his utility to a woman who will find someone(s) to blame (not her) when that happens-having successfully achieved a lifelong meal ticket, in spite of her cheap porno “actress,” yacht girl, briefcase girl, sixth-call cast member of a Canadian cable tv show.
I'd normally say that's a bit much, but we could see in Spare that he already had fantasies of killing his father. And that book was published by Harry himself.

What really bothers me is this victim narrative. Every human being has been a "victim" at some point in their lives. Prince William can also be considered a victim, Being the Heir with the extreme pressures and demands of that comes with it .Loosing a lot of the freedoms that are afforded to most people and like Harry himself. Feeling like a victim and being one are two different things. If Harry felt like a victim it's by his own doing. Harry was turning 13 only a few weeks after Diana died as he was born Sept. of 1984. I was 11, 2 months short of 12 when my mom died suddenly at age 42 of a heart attack on the dance floor. I was very close to my mother and would still cry when talking about her into my early 30's. So I understand the trauma like so many too out there. I also had a 6 year old sister I had to mother while my dad held his full time job for the next couple of years before my dad remarried. We were poor. No nannies. No European vacations. No therapy. No priviledge. Yes Diana was a royal celebrity known worldwide and my mom was a housewife. For a man turning 40 next month, middle age now, grow up, move forward, live a joyful life, a more private life with your kids, with all your money and priviledge. So many are out there struggling to pay the rent, the bills living a stressful life. You have lied and your wife has too for the sake of attention and money. The lies have been proven. Defamed your family and have been a traitor to England, a country that has given you everything in my opinion. I've noticed men fall for these narcissistic type women, when I see right through them. The men are being sex/love bombed so that is all they see that the beginning. Since I am not attracted, I see all the red flags in these type women usually immediately, noticing it just feels wrong somehow.

I'd argue that he still isn't actually *facing* consequences. Although he lost some of the perks of being a royal, it seems like he's willing to blame others for that. I'd also argue that it wasn't Diana's fault, but those who were around him after his mom died. Feeling sorry for him, they allowed him to misbehave without consequence - for decades. Even his engagement and marriage was allowed to proceed without much scrutiny. It's doubtful he'll ever grow up. He and his handler are perpetual victims.

This is Harry’s revisionist history about Diana. She was unusually attached (some might say unhealthily) to William. Of course, she adored both her boys, of course. But Harry was closer with Charles. They enjoyed a lot of the same outdoor activities and spent a great deal of time together. In fact, it was Charles that would take Harry on special outings when William was solely being included in official engagements. Charles was a much more engaged father than Harry tells now, because it doesn’t fit the narrative. Just like Thomas Sr was a good father, but now is painted like a louse.

I watched The Vintage Read review The Housekeeper's Diary written by the housekeeper who worked at Highgrove for Charles and Diana and wow, I learned so much about Diana. She would take William by herself and have dinner with him while watching TV and Harry would eat in the nursery. She not only intentionally created rifts between Charles and both sons but between the brothers. She would tell Charles they couldn't do something with him because she was taking the boys to McDonald's. As if they couldn't go watch him play polo and then they could take the boys together to McDonald's afterwards. It was wild learning, over the course of a few books, about how Diana pretended to like outdoor activities, horse riding, polo, etc. So that she's got closer to Charles and then the facade dropped after their marriage and she let it be known how miserable she was going to Balmoral and doing stuff like that. The Housekeeper says many times how she witness Charles being just as loving and affectionate towards both sons as Diana but in his own way.

I find it very sad that the latest narrative is that all Harry's many bad character traits come from Diana. If you're not someone who grew up with the likes of Meghan Markle, you wouldn't see her coming. The moment they're announced together, I had a bad feeling about her. She's like those girls in school that's nice in your face but was already plotting your downfall just because you didn't compliment her. I often say people who grew up in a good environment, don't have streets smart, well educated, and affluent will have a hard time seeing MM for who she really is.

I have a sister who regards everything about her childhood as negative and as I was there as well, therefore a witness, I know the way she remembers things is based solely on her resentful nature rather than the truth. So clearly he had a vision that Meghan didn’t have and it wasn’t shocking she tugged on the idea of them leaving cause of her threat of suicide. What really bothers me is this victim narrative. Every human being has been a "victim" at some point in their lives. Prince William can also be considered a victim, Being the Heir with the extreme pressures and demands of that comes with it .Loosing a lot of the freedoms that are afforded to most people and like Harry himself. Feeling like a victim and being one are two different things. If Harry felt like a victim it's by his own doing. Just because life throws you a curve ball and you fail to score, it's a failure on your part because that pitch has been thrown to many with successful results.

I was very close to my mother and would still cry when talking about her into my early 30's. So I understand the trauma like so many too out there. I also had a 6 year old sister I had to mother while my dad held his full time job for the next couple of years before my dad remarried. We were poor. No nannies. No European vacations. No therapy. No priviledge. Yes Diana was a royal celebrity known worldwide and my mom was a housewife. For a man turning 40 next month, middle age now, grow up, move forward, live a joyful life, a more private life with your kids, with all your money and priviledge. So many are out there struggling to pay the rent, the bills living a stressful life. You have lied and your wife has too for the sake of attention and money. The lies have been proven. Defamed your family and have been a traitor to England, a country that has given you everything in my opinion. I do not understand how both PH and MM can look at themselves in the mirror every day knowing they have caused so much pain for others by their words and actions. My opinion.

I would suggest you read, The Housekeeper’s Diary. Your synopsis of Diana is incorrect. She actually did quite a bit to fuel Harry’s feelings of inadequacy. It’s time we stop idolizing this woman who clearly had a severe personality disorder that caused a lot of damage to those closest to her.
Well this video isn’t the Psychology of Princess Diana, it’s not supposed to focus so much on the details of her flaws, this video is about Harry and how he views his mother and how he remembers the type of love she gave him which deals with a lot of his decision making. I also haven’t idolized Diana in this video I said that her hot/cold behavior that was manipulative and chaotic is something Harry remembers subconsciously and that’s why he was so ready to support Meghan bc he thinks her behavior was something normal. I’ll definitely check out the Housekeeper’s Diary because I do know Diana was greatly jealous of a nanny that William and Harry spent time with. As a 35 yo woman who has lived with an eating disorder since a teen, I can tell you that it's like living with an addiction there's no difference you become very good at manipulating everything and everyone around you particularly so you can engage in self-destructive behavior. You look perfectly put together on the outside, but inside its turnado and no one is spared from its wrath, not even those you love.

I've noticed men fall for these narcissistic type women, when I see right through them. The men are being sex/love bombed so that is all they see that the beginning. Since I am not attracted, I see all the red flags in these type women usually immediately, noticing it just feels wrong somehow.
I disliked her as soon as we saw her, as bad as it sounds, the fact she was an actress seemed like a massive red flag to me. Harry isn’t attractive physically or mentally, everyone knew why she was with him, it was obvious, especially once they showed the engagement interview it was one major red flag all on its own. Harry is just too dense to realise that no decent, stable woman would want to deal with him, all the riches in the world aren’t enough.
Does anybody else think that Harry MIGHT have been “ok” if he’d married someone else and stayed with his family? Someone stable and genuine? I also get the feeling that he would’ve been happy to leave the UK and live a private, “normal” life like he and M said they were going to.
