- 🌲 After getting a lot of good finds from the night market (Harrison Road), I wanted to check out some ukay-ukay stores that are open during the day. I asked you guys over on Instagram what the best stores are so I made sure to check them out! I was really happy with my finds and I just had to bring them to my trip to Japan! Hope you guys enjoy!

actually may isa pang sikat na ukayan sa baguio. nasa loob mismo ng city market. tawag doon "hilltop". andoon yung pinakamura na mga ukay-ukay, mas mura pa sa sky world at bayanihan na pinuntahan niyo. since kuripot ako and also a student here in baguio, doon ako mostly bumibili ng jackets kasi sobrang mura ng paninda nila. may mga jackets silang 3 or 4 for P50 or P100 lang tapos ang gaganda pa ng quality, hindi mo aakaling galing ukay. 😂

@@sjdb2173 sa may taas na part ng city market. malapit lang siya sa mga meat at fish section. it's better to ask na lang siguro sa mga stalls doon or dun sa information desk ng mga police :)

The texts in the navy blue jacket are actually Chinese words! 小林 is a name that translates to ”small Lin” and 組 means “group”. So there might be a big chance that it is a workwear shirt!

If it is a name: But if I remember correctly, Japanese names have spaces between surname and first name while Chinese don’t, so most likely the jacket was owned by someone named Xiaolin Zu working in cleaning(?)
Pero in a other case, pwede rin siyang jacket for a “small forest cleaning group”

-tumawad gamit ang ilocano mas baba ang presyo iisipin kasi nila local ka if di kaya sumama ng isang local para di rin maligaw 🤣
Im from Isabela at nag iilocano ako pag nasa Baguio ako lalo na pag bumibili o pag kausap mga taxi drivers

I've been to baguio many times pero ngaun lang ako namulat na madami palang ukay spots doon aside from their night market! And bcoz i got insipired by this vlog, i recently went to baguio just this saturday and scored a lot of clothes from these places! I even got a red winter coat with fur for only 20php! Actually may sobrang murang ukayan po dito sa Baguio which is nasa public market sa HILLTOP try niyo po dun and sa lower session po sa tabi ng mercury drug huhuhu though it’s kinda pricey po siguro dahil branded po. Try niyo po the next time you come here in Baguio 😊
Hi! Nag ojt ako sa Japanese contractor company and yes it's a workwear jacket and I learned some japanese words. Yung sa harap translates into Foreman and yung sa likod is yung name ng company.

hi david!im enjoying your vids and featuring baguio tops it all! (ilocana from la union and tambayan ang baguio noon.. ofw na so im missing the philippines so bad) nowadays, baguio ukay2 is now in social media. my cousin buys via facebook baguio ukay pages. she recently bought a poncho for 30 and matched it with a dress for 80. i got a red parka- fluffy with fur hood and bright red color. got it for 50! (my cousin paid it for me muna and will wear it once im back this year hopefully june or july) as per my cousin, the sellers prefer to go via sns because of no rent to pay. just your phone, take pictures of the clothes, sell it online and then meet-ups. (other sellers have regular scheduled meet-ups pra maximize yung time and effort ng pagdala ng mga items) mabilis maubos mga online baguio ukay kasi marami nang mga loyal followers/ good customers. also yung iba dahil alam na in-demand ang certain style or those legit branded items, they do ukay auction too.

Pansin ko yung mga usong damit ngayon na parang hype bae-ish na sinusuot ng mga bagets parang nakakapang hinayang bilihin ng brand new kasi makikita lang din sa ukay-ukay. Minsan napapaisip nga ako kung ang nagpa uso ba ng ganung trend is mga bata kasi di pa nila afford bumili ng boutique clothes. Ang resourceful lang nung thought.😊
Gusto kong maiyak nung pinapakita mo yung sa may session, everything is familiar. Even the scent of the place itself. Baguio ako nagcollege tapos ganyan din kami dati ng mga pinsan ko night market kahit naka pajama lang haha.
I drove all the way from cavite to baguio last oct2018, majorly because of strawberry taho & ice cream kasi di ba ang fresh sa feels HAHAH.. Will definitely drive in the future for ukay ukay din😍

Hello Sir David. You should try din po sana sa Hilltop, sa taas po yun ng wet market. Dun nyo po talaga makikita yung lowest price na ukay dito sa baguio (5 pesos ang pinakalowest).Try din po sa lower session, sa harap na building ng malcolm square, dun po mga shoes and heels naman na below 100.
If you opt to remove the embroidery, there's a tool called seam ripper or you can go to your favorite tailor and have them removed.

Ikaw yung reason kaya nagextend kami para mag baguio. Not joking bro. We find a heaps of jacket. We suppose to leave like 1 day before and then we extend our trip just to go to baguio.
When you bring your ecobag make sure to not get the plastic bag anymore. Haha Kasi may ecobag nga tas nakaplastic din naman yung laman.
