I can try it on my crochet projects. ❤
You're welcome 😊
Thank you 🙏🏼
glad you like it!
Wonderful video, thank you. Id love to crochet a lacey angel with you, would you be able to give a tutorial please❤?
Thank you! I don't have any lacy angel patterns for now, but in the future - who knows :)
Thanks for the tutorial. I was wondering if this would work the same when using darker yarn, I mean would it make it lighter in any way?
if the starch doesn't contain bleach, it won't affect the color, but read the packet carefully before using :)
I like your snowflakes
Thank you.
You're welcome!
Lovely
thank you!
Thanks!
Welcome!
Hi, please if you soak this back in water, would it soften back?
yes, it should :) just wash it and it will become soft again. it may not be as soft as in the beginning, but still.
If these are washed will this have to be redone?
yes, they will soften and may loose shape, especially if we're talking about lacy ornaments or decors! Stiffening is used mostly for projects that don't need washing.
What kind of starch gel did you use plz?
hi! I live in Central Europe now, so I used some local one, granulated. Please look for craft starch in craft and yarn shops in your area, or online, and prepare it accordingly to the instructions on the package.
They r all beautiful.❤
What type of yarn did u use? Thread?
@@donnathompson6694 yes it's a thread, something like Scheepjes Maxi Sugar Rush will be great
You can use simple corn (or other) starch from the food section (won't have bleach in it, of course). Or mix equal parts sugar and water (heat it up), and like with starch soak your work in it, then block it and let it dry.
Is this to be starched everyone we wash. Because at some point it will get dirty
well, every washing will make it a little bit softer, so yes, at some point you will need to use starch again. It depends on how gently you clean it, or if you soak it. If it looses the shape, it has to be stiffened again.
Super🎈
Is it gelatin powder ?
it's starch :)
Dear, this tutorial is rather useless since you don't mention quantities.
Hello :) the quantities depend on what kind of stiffening solution you use and how stiff you want them to be. you can start with 1 cup of water with 1 tbsp starch and see if the thickness works for you :)
Thank you!!
