The upright position doesn't seem to make much sense to me. For stability in waves, you are going to want to be as low as possible, I would think. They should do a recumbent design.
Let,s organize a multiple stage race along the cote d´azur. Same like the Tour de France but a little shorter. 5 days would great. And around 20 teams consisting of 5 members would do.
