Truth is the community event is a flop, and all it needed was to be adjusted slightly with things everyone can use, Dust is fine, units, revives, and at the end a guaranteed 7* or 6* based on progression. The participation would be better. Also you are asking a community that has folks that bully and talk trash to lower progression players to do something that benefits the lower progression, yeah that makes sense 😅
John (Kabam Crashed) said in the announcement that the rewards were intentionally not amazing. He said this event was simply a test to make sure their technology worked. I'd expect the next even to be much spicier as it seems like the tech is working.
Let’s be honest. Kabam wants the likes of Brian Grant to open their crystals because “why do you need 10’s of thousands of crystals you refuse to open”? If they want to be rid of loads of crystals they should announce that specific crystals are being phased out and they will be forced to opened at X time. Then they can put limits of the amount of crystals one can have in their inventory.
But if the crystals are giving items that can’t be used and just expire why open them? The problem is their own fucking economy design in the first place but watch them blame us and glazers like you will support any shit they come up with 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
Limits are the problem. A bulk of my crystals are catalyst and catalyst fragment crystals, why open them to only have to sell the catalysts? If they had a trade up it would make sense to move my t3cc to t4cc and those up to t5cc.

I have 9000+ t4cc frag 700+ t4cc and 850+ t3cc and no reason to open, the cats will expire and have to be sold. It would be a matter of how many you trade to get a single one. Agreed, when they announced it I saved my crystals up, but it was only like a week before the event started so I only opened up a weeks worth. If they had announced it the previous months stream, everyone would have had a better shot at getting up to higher milestones. Goes back to the bad communication from kabam.
I think the rewards for crystal cleansing is honestly fine. This is a community event and for 99% of the community this will help them. Honestly anyone watching this video is in the 1% of players. Most players of this game aren’t watching UA-cam or even uncollected they just interact with it here and there like any other mobile game. Also I think we’ll hit the billi, we’re a third way there after a little over 10 days so we should hit ~900m at this rate and there’s a bunch of people I’ve seen, Brian Grant included, saying they’ll open way more crystals if it comes down to the wire. Just like there was a surge in popped crystals in the beginning it’ll happen again in the end.

The rewards aren't great, but I'm fine with the event. I popped 1000 on day one just in case and then went on to do other stuff in the game.
Kabam also said from the start the rewards will be mostly cosmetic as they just want to see if the system will work for future events. It was a test run on a new system, not a giveaway. A large portion of active players will hit 1000 passively anyway.
I've farmed 30k units this year roughly for the banquet and I'm at that point where I'm stingy and just wanna save them forever and keep the number rising lol
For the cleansing event the T4 crystal shards count as a crystal ever time so you can pop a 1000 of them easy and not get many T4’s. If we all started doing this we’d smash out the event easy

I’m saving units mainly for cyberweekend but wether I spend said units depends on how good the deals are. Last year valiant & paragon were bundled together which I can’t see happening again & if it did I won’t be spending units. Also they have to be better than the most recent July 4th deals.
Sorry but I think the crystal opening event is a loss for Kabam. Either there are less players active enough to contribute the necessary points or Kabam missed the mark with either the rewards or the milestones. Not sure which it is but it is a miss any way.
They should make it easier to sell stash overflow for this. And make all things sellable. I have about 1000 or more 5* signature stones, but they're not sellable. So I just have to let it expire... Completely useless!

I've been opening my crystals like a normal month and I'm currently at 2800. It is really not that difficult to get 1000 crystals if you are at least uncollected.

These were lousy incentives to stop the hoarding of crystals. Like it was stated before increase the point totals for certain crystals, and put phase out dates on crystals to force openings. Make the rewards better too based on progressions. That crystal icon was just plain stupid.

If you want to use them and you don't have rank 5 5star then you need to rank them up and it depletes gold like crazy. I opened all my sig crystal because they give you a nice amount of storage before they go into overflow but I not opening any crystals with revives because they just sit in overflow I end up selling them. I'm trying to rank up some 6 stars to tackle the next level of content. So I don't want those revives to sit in overflow if I'm not ready to use them.

This game is boring. Im not even hating on it i really liked the game played it for years but it's really boring now. Same events, side quest and rewards ect. every month for the last year or 2 and on top of that new champs in the last months have been meh. I rather they go back and buff old champs instead of new champs. The bugs and glitches in the last year have been getting worst and till this day they still havent been fix. The communication with kabam has been bad. The only time u hear from them is when they have something new to show or talk about. Act 9 enemy health pools are crazy. Don't get me wrong it's not hard but it takes forever to defeat just one opponent. Even using strongest champs dont do much.
I will long quit this game before I ever reach Act 9. I reached act 7.2.6 and I can't get through that GewnPool rotation fight. I haven't tried in two months.

I did a realistic new account challenge recently playing an average of 25 minutes a day it took 90 days without spending units. I ended up with 6500 units.
Simply put, the rewards are not relevant for anything; no one who likes to hoard crystals is going to change the whole way they play this game for those rewards.
Month has been a total turd outside of 9.1. Not to mention that scammy 7 star nexus crystal looking crystal that has 1•5 % chance for a 7* . Like have some integrity . Yuck

How can crystal cleanse go well when the rewards are total fkn trash, plus to say if we don't open our crystals that kabam will do it for us is just absurd..game is a total shit show for 5yrs now and not 1 mfkr doing videos will hold kabam accountable for it..bellends to say the least!!

@@fatmanjstyle5306 absolute joke anymore..rewards are so weak anymore..unless you're buying fake ass money deals that give ya crumbs and becoming valiant than you don't earn shit for progression..especially what they're doing to TB players..and saying the TB is the new cavalier is ridiculous because if that's the case then to become cavalier you should be fighting the Grandmaster..to allow TB players to acquire 7*'s but can't get R5/6* resources is fkn absurd..the only things consistent anymore are dropped inputs, bugged game play and a rigged A.I., straight up truth!!

This game is boring. Im not even hating on it i really liked the game played it for years but it's really boring now. Same events, side quest and rewards ect. every month for the last year or 2 and on top of that new champs in the last months have been meh. I rather they go back and buff old champs instead of new champs. The bugs and glitches in the last year have been getting worst and till this day they still havent been fix. The communication with kabam has been bad. The only time u hear from them is when they have something new to show or talk about. Act 9 enemy health pools are crazy. Don't get me wrong it's not hard but it takes forever to defeat just one opponent. Even using strongest champs dont do much.
That is the power creep. Too many over powered Champs and a whole lot of weak older Champs.
I will long quit this game before I ever reach Act 9. I reached act 7.2.6 and I can't get through that GewnPool rotation fight. I haven't tried in two months.
