I sat the Goethe A1 exam today and have passed with Luzi and Johannes' expertise. I have been preparing for 2 weeks only. I didn't know where to begin and had no prior German training. I purchased the A1 training course from YourGermanTeacher and it was the best decision. The course structure is simple but informative and has the perfect blend of Grammar and other topics. Hi Jamie 👋 This actually depends a bit on the institute where you take the test. Normally there are loud speakers installed in the room somewhere, but I also had students who told me that the examiner used some kind of audio-device with integrated speakers and placed it at his desk. Most likely the audio quality definitely won't be superb 😐. Therefore I it's a good idea to sit close to the audio source/speaker if possible. 🙂👍🙏 Btw. The first announcement is confusing to me, the sentence translates as - "Daniel's mother should come with information", seems too ambiguous of a question, if the question was does daniels mother go to the information desk, then that would make sense
"Daniels Mutter soll zur Information kommen." doesn't mean "Daniel's mother should come with information." Like explained in the video, "Information" means "information desk" in this context and the whole sentence translates to: "Daniel's mother is asked/supposed to come to the information desk." 😉👍🙏

Just imagine it's an exam to test your English. I think you would most likely have an idea or a good guess which words might be important for finding the answer. If you learnt the vocabulary that you need for this German test you can do exactly the same in the German exam. Important words are often verbs / times / words of negation ... 👍🙂🙏

🙂👍🙏 No need to be nervous. If you prepared for it and learned your words, the exam won't be that hard. Basically it's just the same what you do in German class. 🙂👍🙏
Preparation is the key. And don't rush. Most people tend to take tests to early. Wait until you honestly can say to yourself that you have the level that you intend to take the test for. As for A2 don't take the test before or either at the moment you finish an A2 course. Better go on with courses for the next level and take the test once you reached the middle of B1 in your textbook. Like this it shouldn't be a big deal to pass A2, if you always did your homework 😉👍🙏

"Sprechen" braucht sehr viel Übung... am besten mit Muttersprachlern. "Lesen" kannst du natürlich alleine üben. Lies Texte in Kursbüchern, die deinem Level entsprechen und lerne taglich 5 neue Vokabeln. 🙂👍🙏
Es gibt also 15 Fragen. Wieviel Zeit darf man nehmen, jede Frage zu antworten? zB, wenn er darf nur eine Minute für jede, dann dauert die ganze Prüfung nur 15-20 Minuten, oder?
