Your eye color pops so gorgeously with this palette! Urban Decay shadows are among my favorites. They look great and last all day on my mature, dry-ish skin. The first color used shows up well for me. My skin is slightly deeper than yours but I have less pink and tend toward being a fair olive tone. I love this palette. Thanks for showing this dupe. In general I find I need richer formulas than most drugstore brands have for my mature skin. Powdery formulas can be aging, so I usually avoid them anymore. But if I was younger I'd definitely go for the less expensive alternatives.

I LOVE LA Girl eyeshadows and eyeliners! I've been reaching for their eyeliners over my benefit and Lancome favorites lately. Their eyeshadows have a little more fallout than high end shadows but I don't mind that at all, as I do my eyes first and clean up before foundation. The pigment in their shadows is AMAZING, they're super bendable, and last all day. They absolutely cannot be beat for the price. ❤️

I got my LA Girl in the mail today and it is fabulous. Definitely a little powdery, I thought there were way too many shimmer shades, so I had to use Drip from the UD Honey palette so I could use a nice matte brown. Very happy for the price from Amazon though! Thanks for this video!

That is a wonderful alternative for Urban Decay palette, The L.A girl eyeshadow palette seems perfect even though it is less similar, however, I don't really like eyeshadow fallouts at all but it is a excellent alternative, last October I bought my sister the Urban Decay palette the one in the video for her birthday and she really loves it, I always enjoy watching your videos❤

I love the Revealed 2, which is the Urban Decay Naked 3 dupe. I’ve gone through 3 of them so far, and just bought #4. That’s how much I use this palette.
Tracy Frederick I saw that, and it’s a great deal, but I was focusing on getting backups of my favorite, the Revealed 2. For someone who didn’t have any Revealed palettes , that was a fabulous deal. I’m glad you got to take advantage of it.

I love that LA Girl pallet! It had a bit of a strange makeupy smell at first but then went away. It makes really nice soft romantic looks. The quality is ok for the price. I use MAC fix + to wet the metallic shades and use primer & it lasts ok. Thanks for reviewing this for us!
I just got this palette, I’m so thankful it came with a small brush because I have small hooded eyes, and blending brushes can be too large to work with
I agree with you about Urban Decay pallets. Every pallet I have tried fades and muddies. I always do my face last because I worry about fall out, I’ve never tried LA girl the fall out you experienced is why I haven’t attempted to use them ever
Yes! The only palettes with UD I don’t have that issue with is the Naked Smokey one and the Naked Honey. Every other one of their palettes they muddy and wear off by the end of the day on me.

I love the LA girl Nudes pallet, I bought it years ago and found myself using it so often I did use up a few colors and ended up buying the pallet again. For 8 dollars it's a good pallet to have, I don't have a lot of money so it's perfect for me!
I have the naked 3 and I have tried dupes but I will say I have always thought the naked 3 is still better. For example the shade darkside kinda looks like a deep grey shade but it has a true pinky undertone that no dupe palette has re-created (in my opinion). The shade dust is kind of a bust and trick is a little hard to get good pigment out of but still, this palette is beautiful! Try using buzz over a purple cream shadow, it looks amazing. Or layer trick on top of a copper cream shadow. And mugshot looks so pretty over a silver or taupe cream shadow. I really got into using other shades to bring out the undertones of these shadows, basically! I don't think you should regret your purchase!
You won’t regret it. I used the Cover Girl Roses dupe for a while before deciding this year that I love the tones enough to invest. I paid full pop in the spring for Naked 3. I’m keeping this dupe in mind in case they discontinue UD3.
I absolutely adore the Naked 3! But when I use it I tend to do simpler looks with as few shadows as possible because i have always had the same issue as you... the colors ALWAYS blend together after any kind of wear time. Alwaysssssss. And for the $54 price tag that's just infuriating!! I'm beyond thrilled to find a comparable dupe!! I have pretty fair skin and I like less pigmented shadows for every day use; I can make sure I look like I'm going to work and not a club, with less application time, which is pretty scarce in the morning sometimes!! The Naked 3 palette is my favorite palette out there. Just loooove me some pink cool tones. They flatter me so well lol I know makeup revolution has a dupe palette for this as well and of course I bought it and loved ittt. It was basically spot on and pigmentation and blending wasn’t bad either. I’m excited to see how these perform so I know I will always have some sort of backup when UD happens to do a Naked palette discontinuation again lol

I wish I had eyelids like yours but with my age, they’re just not and it makes it more difficult for me to do nice eye looks. However, you have encouraged me to use color. I had fun with yellows and oranges and reds when the leaves started changing.
While watching the tutorial I could see the Urban Decay powder flying through the air, like a smoke signal. I expect fallout with just about every palette. So I either do eyes first, wear a eye shield, or pamper myself with a eye mask.
I got the UD naked 3 for $27 sale last week. For that price point it's worth it although I agree by end of day the U.D. palettes blend into one. I haven't seen LA girl, my drugstore doesn't carry it. Good review just wanted to know If LA girl lasted and if it stayed separated .
Just get the tarte palettes. Its worth the money. I have tartlette 1, 2, and 3. Urban decay born to run palette which I also have is worth every penny over the dupes. I choose born to run over the 15 dupes they have. Just the packaging alone is worth the buy and travel worthy.

Tried both and to be honest i ended up gravitating towards the LA Girl Palette. Love the 2 rose shades. I had to give away my naked 3 to my cousin eventually as i am liking my LA Girl palette better.

I bought so many urban decay palettes including born to run, the mini palettes to that line, nakeds: the original, smokey, heat, and cherry. I was tempted to buy this one because it was 50% off on sephora but it is sold out then I randomly looked at the ingredients tab and noticed that talc is the first ingredient. I don't like talc because usually it is asbestos free but in a rare case we can't be sure because JoJo Siwa released makeup then it was later recalled because it may contain asbestos I love UD because it is cruelty free and doesn't have parabens but for 60$ (as they usually cost in Canada) is way too much for something with talc. I rather try my luck with L.A. girl even though that urban decay case is so pretty.
Thats the thing about dupes..they may be close but they are not always spot on in texture and formula. In my opinion, there is nothing so revolutionary, about the UD palette, that it should be priced so high. Thanks for sharing 💜
I have always had that issue with UD shadows. I adore their palettes but refrain from purchasing because of the muddiness after a few hours. I’ve tried everything too: Mac paint pot, UD Eden and original primer, Milani primer, hard candy primer. Nothing changes the outcome...
That is one of my very favourite palettes & I was worried that they might discontinue it but I don’t need 2 right now. I’ll remember this if they kill it before needing a new one.
I actually liked the Urban Decay side better. UD is one of my favorite lines because they stay fresh looking on me all day. I have oily combo skin plus live down in south Texas, I need something that can withstand our 100 heat during the summer months. I really don't have time to keep applying to build up the colors like with that lower end line. If you wear an eye shadow base & setting spray you shouldn't have any trouble with it getting muddy , least I haven't . But it could be different body chemistry that it doesn't mix well with . I have seen other people who don't like their eyeshadows . I also like the more natural look too. I just wished they had more mattes & cool tones in their pallets.
I thought it was me being new’ish to applying eyeshadow, and have always had the same problems with this UD palette and one other, Naked 2 maybe? Can’t remember which one at the moment

The LA Girl was just a smidge prettier. Yes, I could tell it blended easier than the Urban Decay.
I have always had that issue with UD shadows. I adore their palettes but refrain from purchasing because of the muddiness after a few hours. I’ve tried everything too: Mac paint pot, UD Eden and original primer, Milani primer, hard candy primer. Nothing changes the outcome...
I wish they’d make a palette w all these colors but matte. I’d love a pinky blushy browny matte palette.
That is one of my very favourite palettes & I was worried that they might discontinue it but I don’t need 2 right now. I’ll remember this if they kill it before needing a new one.

Whenever I apply a shadow that has fallout I look down into a hand mirror on my lap so it falls onto the mirror instead of my face. :-)

Thanks! I'll deal with the LA Girl for the money I save. I don't need it to match Urban Decay perfectly as long as it wears well.
I actually liked the Urban Decay side better. UD is one of my favorite lines because they stay fresh looking on me all day. I have oily combo skin plus live down in south Texas, I need something that can withstand our 100 heat during the summer months. I really don't have time to keep applying to build up the colors like with that lower end line. If you wear an eye shadow base & setting spray you shouldn't have any trouble with it getting muddy , least I haven't . But it could be different body chemistry that it doesn't mix well with . I have seen other people who don't like their eyeshadows . I also like the more natural look too. I just wished they had more mattes & cool tones in their pallets.
I would love to see the Naked 3 palette compared with Silk Naturals version.

I thought it was me being new’ish to applying eyeshadow, and have always had the same problems with this UD palette and one other, Naked 2 maybe? Can’t remember which one at the moment
