For the people who like to visit sri lanka, Sri lankan food is all about flavors just bursting in your mouth mainly spicy and Savoury, i you are planning to visit sri lanka i really think that u should love really flavory foods cause if u don't go well with sri lankan food u are in a big trouble cause even pizza and pasta here is so full in flavors.... They're supposed to mix curry with rice. I don't see them doing that. It would be nice if someone showed them how to eat Sri Lankan food, or they should have asked someone. I see them having typical Sri Lankan food, but we also have all kinds of different food for foreigners who are not used to spicy food.

When eating rice and curry in Sri Lanka. It's important to know how to pick the curries that go together to make the balanced taste to your liking. For me... *Combination NO:1 - Rice, Dhal curry, Beetroot* *curry, bitter gourd curry, a meat curry, centella salad and papadam* If I get beetroot curry I prefer it with a bitter gourd curry. (It balance out the slight sweetness and the bitterness) and then we need something spicy something like a chicken/fish/pork curry. And to balance out that punching taste of spices we need a salad my favourite is a Centella salad. And you can add dhal curry since it goes with anything. And lastly for the crispy goodness we need papadam. *Combination NO:2 - Rice, Dry fish fry and coconut sambol* (No words... just try it) And we do NOT eat the curry and rice separately. You have to mix all the curry/salad and all the things you have on the plate little by little to make one bite. (BTW don't mix all the things like bibimbap or jajangmyeon IF you are out in a hotel. It's kinda out of table manners. Only mix the part you eat at a time) And Wonhun looks like he do not like the taste of spices that much. He could've tried hoppers, string hoppers, string hopper kottu, noodles kottu, fried rice, coconut pancakes(pani pol pancake), pittu and there is probably many more it's just that I can't remember😅
Yes our srilankan food is always soo spicy.. i just had dhal curry and beetroot with dried dish and rice today ❤️ the coconut sambal is great with string hoppers
