C4D's no professional step by step character animation lessons in this style ? Maybe I've been looking for years... Almost all of them in the same tutorial . ua-cam.com/video/0_CRJaFU2iU/v-deo.html

Great quicktip! Also, is there a way to have similar functionality with instacne object? Sometimes for complex models and scenes, instance is more preferable way of working. Thanks
You can do that using a Time Field in the Effector that controls the Animation. You can even "mask" the Time using a random effector in Multiply mode and add some randomness to it. www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/13c4stgwewe83nh11e5ax/Point-Selections-in-Fields-01A.c4d?rlkey=snwzxs8seg143y2w5s991grym&dl=0

I've been looking for a way to easily control clones of an animation, cheers Noseman!

I wish this would work with render or multi instances
Although this is genius, it regularly melts my system, using this method. It limits the amount of clones you can effectively animate very drastically.
Would love to have ability to "activate" the animation and let it play till finish.
