Enjoyed this. I have an air fryer my daughter gave me, but she didn't have the manual.. So this was really helpful. Also, I do not like spicy foods either.
Wow that is alot! I agree get the chicken on the thing then put the spice rub on cause it seems to come off from all the moving it around and adding the twine. Good to learn how this all works.
You’re so cute🤣🤣🤣 your videos are so “real life” and you make me laugh. Keep them coming! My daughter just got me the PC Airfryer oven for Christmas! I’m soooo excited to try some of your recipes. Thanks for making these videos!!
Amazing video! I just followed along and did what you said and my chicken turned out perfectly! Now I just need you to do a video about how to properly carve it once you take it out of the air fryer! 😀
i actually recommended putting all the hardware on the chicken before adding the seasoning mixture so it is less slick! Speaking from experience here :)
I’m just going to advise that if you peel the garlic first, it will press better. Although it’s entertaining to watch! I just ordered a PC garlic press!
I love these videos. Your 101 video is what I used to used to learn how to use my air fryer correctly. So thank you for that. A little constructive criticism; I feel like there are too many little things you mention that could save time and breath in the videos. Example, when opening the juicer you said “then I like to just open it up because there might be a little bit of juice left on the inside.” I find this in most of the videos. Totally not trying to come off mean or rude. However, I do understand that there are people out there that need to know the small things since common sense isn’t something you can buy. 😉😉 thanks again for the video’s!!!
Crystolla, not mean or rude at all. Thanks for taking the time to provide constructive feedback. That's how we improve. Sometimes it is tough to determine what to leave in and what to edit out. I usually error on the side of leaving the info it if it could be helpful to less experienced folks. Hopefully the videos keep improving and find the balance. Feel free to keep the feedback coming. Always good to have another perspective 🙂👍
My wife bought one of these air fryers. It is more of a toy than a cooking device. We tried a chicken normal size 3.5 lb chicken and it hits the heating element and stops turning. It spun on the shaft and burnt on one side and the other nearly raw. I did not pay attention to it when I put it in. Just followed this video. Nobody said anything about having to use a small chicken. Actually a cornish hen would be about the right size for this air fryer. This air fryer needs to be at least 4 inches inside size larger than it is to do a normal size chicken. And they give you 3 cooking racks to use. Inside? What the heck can you fit inside on three racks. No room. Not enough circulation if you pack stuff on all 3 racks. Top rack will burn and the bottom rack will be under done. More of a toy than a real appliance. Takes far too much effort to use it. Not at all like a microwave. Stick stuff in turn it on and done. Easy. This thing involves lots of moving racks around during cooking and nothing we made in it was actually done at the time the cookbook that comes with it says for cooking time. Everything needed about 15% more cooking time than the cook book says. Remember to rotate during cooking. All this hassle might be worth it if it makes things much better than they can be made using proper cooking devices that work with a lot less hassle. If you loved your easy bake oven when you were a kid then this is for you. If you want to cook a real meal for more than 2 people then this is not for you. Unless you have a lot of time to play with it. Personally I am disappointed in how this unit was designed. I will never do another chicken in it. Note if you cut up your chicken to fit in the rotating basket they send you with the unit then it will cook the chicken ok. But that basket only holds about one Cornish hen. Or cook 1/2 of your chicken at a time. What that? You need to cook 2 chickens? Well then 4 batches in the basket. What 3 hours of cooking and messing around with this to do that? Yep!
That's frustrating and disappointing for sure. Nothing worse than expecting a perfect rotisserie chicken and getting half raw/half burned. I have a couple of ideas below but if you're just not happy with it, don't forget about the 30 Day Money Back Guarantee. No reason to keep it if you just don't like it. The reason I started this UA-cam channel is to help people with products & recipes but sometimes a product just isn't for you no matter how much someone else likes it. 1. You mention 3 trays, the Air Fryer only comes with 2 trays and 1 heat shield. Recommend taking a quick look at the use and care or you can check out my Air Fryer 101 video. If used without the heat shield you may get food stuck on the heating element or get burned. ua-cam.com/video/1oXpLDH_9Vk/v-deo.html 2. Max chicken size is 4lbs so you were within that. Not sure why it was hitting without seeing a picture, I've not experienced that yet. Only thoughts offhand is that it was either an oddly shaped chicken or shifted to one side on the spit. 3. Some things you do need to rotate trays for. In my videos I try and call this out but you shouldn't have to remember, it'll alert you with a beep. Understood that this isn't optimal but remember, your microwave usually rotates too. It just does't it automatically with a turntable. Same as the Air Fryer does when you use the rotisserie function (of course rotisserie didn't work properly with your chicken which is disappointing). 4. If you're willing to give it another go I have a bunch of recipes on my Air Fryer playlist. The chicken Parmesan is one of my favorites. There are also some simpler ones like English Muffin Pizza and Air Fryer Oreos. ua-cam.com/play/PLwgAMwUjHzLtyaG8ammcBz1Ajtim0iZxo.html 5. Hope this helps. I use mine daily but know everyone's situations and thus needs are different. Even simple things like reheating leftovers are so much quicker in the Air Fryer than how they come out of a microwave. Just keep in mind the 30 day Money Back Guarantee, look up when it ends so if it doesn't workout you can return it.
@@PamperedChefWithKatie I get you are defending the product. However the 3.5 lb chicken I bought was not even close to fitting in the air fryer. As I said the unit needed to be 4 inches taller inside. 2 more inches of clearance on top and bottom for it to rotate without hitting. IMHO even a 2.5 lb chicken might not fit. And my grocery store does not have an easy bake oven size aisle for products ready made to fit this air fryer. So what is a guy to do? Buy a chicken spend all the time setting it up on the spit only to find out it does not fit, then remove it heat up the oven take out another pan and oven bake it. Now you can spend the time it is cooking in the oven cleaning the air fryer you just messed up for nothing. My point is every chicken is going to be a trial and error with this air fryer. And that is a poor design. If it comes with a spit to rotisserie a chicken then all chickens should fit. not just some of them. I expect better from a brand like pampered chef. And no I am not going to cut them some slack. They put out a pricy product with their name on it and sell it as a capable product when it is not. That is like bait and switch.

I absolutely loved this video, I’ll be making this tomorrow after my chicken is done brining. The extra effects were great too 😁

Happy it came out great for you and good point on adding a carving how-too. Really enjoy seeing comments like this.

Yes! I also learned to make sure and have WAY more twine! I was better prepared when I made my turkey video! 😀
@@PamperedChefWithKatie How can you possibly fit a turkey in this unit? Nuts! I say.
Gunna make this tonight ......keep ya posted
Love your videos learning a lot!
That's great and thanks for the comment... keeps me motivated knowing the videos are helpful 🙂
Good job😊
I’m just going to advise that if you peel the garlic first, it will press better. Although it’s entertaining to watch! I just ordered a PC garlic press!
I hear you but the PC garlic press is made to be used with the peel on. Saves you a step. 😉
I'd appreciate a more detail explaination of the stick insert. I am trying to see how you do it.
Thank you I am making it right now
Let me know how it turns out!!
If you are de-seeding a jalapeño just clean it in the sink UNDERWATER, that way the juice doesn’t go everywhere and it is safer
I didn't know that! Thanks for that tip!
🤣😂🤣 loved it
Did you know that DENTAL FLOSS works well too!
Tha KS this helps
Looks delicious. How was it?

Took me months of struggling to figure out how to use the handle
Sorry to hear that. I hope you got it all figured out now. If not let me know and maybe I can give you a tip or 2.
