@@Boretheory You are right ,even though it is a minor nation when I heard about the special force "Adriti" it impressed me so much. The faith of the Italians made them heroic. They resisted to empires and even pushed them. If you consider removing Italy remove Ottoman Empire to, they were equally important.

in reality, they were merely a distraction for the allies during ww1, the germans used them like that, the only countries who really did something are Germany, France, UK, Austria-Hungary, USA, Russia. UK and France carried the entente, the UK ensured that the germans would starve by naval blockading them and the french carried the most imporant front: The western front. I would say that the Italians, despite being stronger than the ottomans, was also just a distraction, just a stronger one for the austrians
