Однозначно моя самая любимая песня у Lauren Ruth, хотя в принципе в целом я люблю всё её творчество, но эта песня совершенно особенная, однозначный шедевр и жемчужина во всём её многообразном и интересном творчестве, эта песня возглавляет все мои списки любимых песен, она одна из самых-самых любимых, включая все песни, которые я когда-либо слышала, совершенно удивительная, уникальная песня! Текст песни просто превосходный, всем, кто не знает английский, очень советую перевести хотя бы через гугл-переводчик (лучше что-то, чем ничего), песня очень глубокая, отнюдь не поверхностная в отличие от большинства песен современной музыки. Эта песня очень глубокая и метафоричная, сразу же вспоминаются образцы гениальной поэзии, лично я сразу же вспомнила Пастернака. И видеоряд очень удачно подобран, особенно метафора с цепью, как это метко подмечено! Иногда тот, кого ты очень сильно любишь, надевает на тебя цепь и сдерживает тебя, мучает тебя, а иногда ты сам надеваешь на себя цепь и сдерживаешь себя, мешаешь сам себе, не даёшь самому себе жить так, как хочется, не даёшь себе дышать, развиваться, идти вперёд, просто жить! Какая глубина в этой метафоре! И как метко подмечено, что иногда мы со своим мучителем просто меняемся местами, ничего не меняется в целом, просто вы взяли и поменялись ролями вместо того, чтобы полностью исправить эту ситуацию либо же разорвать эти отношения - тоже очень метко подмечено! Просто гениальное видео! И гениальный текст песни! Lauren, просто уважаю тебя за это, однозначно одна из лучших твоих работ, моя самая любимая!!!
