I feel like this is the first time D is being real about Hasbro's short comings. That's something I respect as a collector. And kudos to the custom paint job.
@Parker Brown it was a hit and miss since the back wasn't fully painted but at least hasbro is sending out replacement helmets which has been confirmed and if i wanted to take shots at the legacy bandai dt white i would the back was poorly unpainted and not raised and thats about it lolz though they didn't even paint the super megaforce dino thunder white ranger key helmet either though at the time i didn't even notice cause of how small it was Lolz and suprise superise it's at the very front of my collection and i have been staring at it since then and finally noticed when hasbro revealed dt white with the unpainted helmet lmao

If I manage to find that Lightning Collection White Dino Thunder Ranger and then get the replacement helmet, everything will be perfect.
FYI. When you go to customer care, do the live chat they will ask you to attach a photo of the figure. They said once it comes they will ship it to you. Pretty fast and straight forward.

Idk about sending a replacement. The did say they're releasing Dino Thunder White at the end of September. Maybe it will be what was advertised on the box?

They only listened because of all the backlash which is great cause that means they listen to fans/collectors.
It's great to hear that they're doing a running change and sending replacement heads with the paint
But also a bad move for hasbro cause now they have to spend more money to fix a huge mistake which shouldn't have been a mistake in the first place so hopefully they learned the lesson and stop slacking hardcore on the paint with the PRLC line

I was going to pass on this figure because like most 80s kids i only really know Mighty Morphing so ive been getting out of the line. But after i saw your pairing with Fang Joker i remembered that you dont have to know shit about a character to enjoy a cool action figure! Hasbro just got some more of my money now! Thank you.

I'm happy you recorded this before the statement; I read about the "controversy" but had no idea what Hasbro messed up until watching this.
The hand that’s glued together is actually for Abarekiller to hold it as a pen 🖊. If you go back and watch scenes from Abaranger or Dino Thunder you’ll see scenes using the sword as a pen.

Abarekiller is awesome, I got this fugure and painted it myself and getting the replacement helmet. I really wish it had Mikoto Nakadai's head though right??

The Figure Rise Kamen Rider figures are even closer to scale with lightning collection than the figurarts as they are slightly bigger. Also, glad Hasbro stepped up to fix the helmet.
"its not one of those things I'm going to lose my mind with." I take issue with that outlook, because not calling them out and holding their feet to the fire on BASIC design elements of the figure is just going to let them keep doing it because they will assume people will just let it slide. It's a ridiculous error that should not happen.

I'm losing my mind right now. Mafex Spider-Man FFH release date is now Dec. 2020, I pre-ordered it Nov. 2019. The accessories are not even that impressive.

Stick to SHF, not Mafex. Seriously. Mafex releases are always 3/4th of a year wait minimum without a pandemic. Might as well pick SHF, and if the mafex has better reviews if ever released, just sell...
It depends on what character your trying to get, for Spiderman - its gotta be mafex. I go for how screen/comic accurate the figure is then looking how it's quality is.

Just letting everyone know that they are only sending new painted heads till the end of October. It is an extremely easy process you want need your receipt. Just the figure and you will take a picture of the figure with your reference number written on a piece of paper in front and they will send you a new head.

I don't mind the unpainted gloves cuz it makes it easier to mix and match with most other Rangers figures since they almost all have white gloves. I do want to paint that morpher though.
I'm getting this figure for Christmas. I'm 50% sure. I love the power rangers lightning collection. But hasbro needs to be more consistent. Especially with this figure. Awesome video dude. I do have this figure. I used paint pens to fix the paint apps. Mostly the helmet and the back of the hands, and morpher. Lastly I painted his weapon. Now it looks 20× better.

Luckily Hasbro fixed the visor part of the helmet from the figure and if you are gonna rereview that with the fixed visor that would be great.

D Amazing...you should try to put your "Mafex" head on the Black Mastadon Ranger LC figure if you get it and do a video. Just for the "wow" factor. Kind of like if you went to SD Comic Con and your cosplay costume was the original Black Ranger.
