I am an Iranian who lived in USA for about 40 years. Although, I like US, specially where I live (Laguna Beach) and raised two kids but I am planning to move to Mexico City and retired in the most beautiful city in the world. Why? because of the great Mexican people, nice weather, amazing food and to listen to Jose Jose in a beautiful Mexican cafe.
*Hola amigo* 🙌 That's awesome! Really, this is incredible, we're so happy to hear these thoughts about our country and overall the love you have for it. Jose Jose is an icon of Mexican Music alongside Juan Gabriel, Vicente Fernandez, etc Thank you for watching and for commenting amigo 🤩😍🫶

What an incredible story! I loved learning about you and how you transitioned from SA to Mexico. However, I must disagree about not being judged in Mexico for your economic position. Mexico is a very classist country and you're looked down for the way you dress, the house you live in and where your children go to school to. Classism in Mexio is rampant, especially in the central states. However I appreciate your positive outlook and hope more people were like you. Congratulations on your wonderful channel and keep up the good work!
Hey Roger 🤗🤗 Thank you - it really has been quite a journey 😅 Oh I totally get what you're saying, I definitely have noticed classism here 🥲 And specifically in the south of Mexico, classism and racism seem to go hand in hand, which was very saddening for me to discover 🙃😔 However, if I were to directly compare Mexico to South Africa, the level of classism here versus there is nothing. It's completely normal to see the streets filled with luxury cars, and see people living in homes far bigger than anything I've seen in Mexico 🫠 And if you don't have those things in SA, especially by the age of 30, people are going to feel very sorry for you 🤨 Either way, we all get to choose our friends and if someone is going to judge you based on your car/home/clothes, they're not going to make the cut 🙌🙌

It depends where you grew up in South Africa. South Africa has traditions too. I, too grew up and educated in South Africa but I have to disagree to what your opinions are of South Africa. Maybe it's a generational gap.
Hey Jeanne 🙂 Yep, I totally agree, it completely depends on where you grow up in South African. I think I mentioned in the video that I grew up in Johannesburg and my experience of living there was very Westernised. We're all entitled to our own opinions and we all experience things differently based on our conditioning and home environment, so I can see why you have a completely different view of South African than what I do 🫶
