Hi Teacha Karen! I took my demo earlier but I'm quite confused. The admin just gave me her feedback but she didn't tell me if I passed or not. But on the portal, there's an option for retake demo. I don't know if that's for retaking the demo or making the self-intro video.

I actually know a little Japanese but since there's a JUST English policy, can I not use that to attract students(on my introduction video for example)? Or does it even help attracting them if I did? Also when I scroll up or down the lesson on my pc, do the student also see that? Or do they follow the lesson on their own?
Students cannot see you screen. Your screen is also NOT recorded by Native Camp. About speaking Japanese, sometimes you can use it to your advantage but what really attracts students would be the teacher's teaching skills and English proficiency :)

Hello, so I was exempted from learning kit, assessment, demo lesson etc. which is great but the the same time not so, being exempt from procedures like the ones stated is throwing me in the deep end. Is it all explained on the tutor homepage so I can learn how lessons are conducted, reviewed etc.? Thanks in advance!

Teacher Karen help po, After taking the tests dun sa Learning kits, how do I know na may badge na po ako? kase sa textbooks, dko makita yung mga materials, Sapuri Materials lng po yung naviview ko. So baka Sapuri pa lng yung badge ko? Thanks po
Yes po, iba ang badges ng Sapuri teacher sa hindi (like us, hindi kami Sapuri). Usually makikita mo siya sa textbook tab or sa learning kit. Please note na magkaiba tayo ng tinuturo kaya magkakaiba din ng badges :)

I find it really hard to continue the flow of the conversation, as well as note down the student's mistakes on grammar/ pronunciation, etc., then point it out to them and correct them. I'm also a passionate but introvert person. I would love to add a lot of value every class. But my social energy just depletes so fast esp. if I get children. do you have tips on that matter too? 🥲😅

If you can log into the tutor portal and it no longer says "Scoring" then it means you passed.

Yes you did. The next step is a self-learning course which you have to complete.

Oh that's because you're a native speaker. It's an advantage though on the downside, you won't get to "test/assess" your teaching skills.

just use photo compressor software that's available for free online. it basically reduces the file size to a smaller one

Hi, I passed all the steps so I went to the native camp tutor's homepage, it took me to Google Chrome Tagalog! Please help! I don't understand tagalog! How to I get to guidelines so I can earn my first $20. Thanks for your help in advance.
Just go to the settings menu of your Google Chrome and change the language to English. You can also Google the steps on how to do that

Teacher Karen help po, After taking the tests dun sa Learning kits, how do I know na may badge na po ako? kase sa textbooks, dko makita yung mga materials, Sapuri Materials lng po yung naviview ko. So baka Sapuri pa lng yung badge ko? Thanks po
Yes po, iba ang badges ng Sapuri teacher sa hindi (like us, hindi kami Sapuri). Usually makikita mo siya sa textbook tab or sa learning kit. Please note na magkaiba tayo ng tinuturo kaya magkakaiba din ng badges :)

Try to uninstall your Google chrome. Reinstall mo para madetect nya uli yung mic and webcam mo :)

I haven't... and yes ok lang magblock, kaya lang kasi nalalaman nila. Merong mommy nagsabi sakin na sobrang sad nya daw kasi niblock yung anak nya na may learning disability :(

Hi, Teacha Karen! I'm already in step 5 (Quiz). Does that mean I passed my demo? I could not believe it because when I took it I was eating my lunch when the bell rang and got all flustered and had so many mistakes. Anyway, your videos are really helpful :)

Hello Teacha! I'm a new NC teacher and I would like to ask for tips about Free Conversation. I find it really hard to continue the flow of the conversation, as well as note down the student's mistakes on grammar/ pronunciation, etc., then point it out to them and correct them. I'm also a passionate but introvert person. I would love to add a lot of value every class. But my social energy just depletes so fast esp. if I get children. do you have tips on that matter too? 🥲😅
