I love the more minimal fall decor too, I try to keep it seasonal as opposed to Halloween which is just too short lived. You accomplish so much and have so many goals, I'm genuinely impressed with your stamina! Not that I want to add to your plate, 😅, but I'd love to see a planning video where you talk about all your different projects, how you plan for, prioritize, and allocate time for them. How is the writing WIP going?
Hi Sherry! That's an amazing idea, I've written it down to film a full video on how I plan/organize my projects because it's true, without my systems (Kanban Board, my physical planner, batch working etc.), there's no doubt that I'd fall completely off track. My books are always #1 priority though, so if my editor sends me revisions, all of my other projects get dropped to the bottom of the priority list and that will take precedent! I also made a note to do a separate video with just a "Writing WIP update" -- I realize I haven't been as diligent in showing that progress and everything happening behind the scenes!! How is your writing going?! Fall/Winter = Hunker-down-writing-hibernation season 😊 xx
I also prefer minimal Fall decor. My Grandma was way into the decor and had things that were motion censored. I think that gave me my phobia of realistic dolls....LOL It always scared me...I used to be scared of skeletons too. My dad told me when I was little: but you have a skeleton inside you! He meant to calm me down but I started screaming when he said that. HAHA
lol I love that your Grandma went out all out with her Halloween decorations (I'm with you, I think I'd also develop a phobia of realistic motion censored dolls haha!) aw I like your dad's way of trying to make you less scared of skeletons, that's a cute way of putting it actually...he's not wrong lol!! (but i can see how as a kid that'd be terrifying) 💀 🎃
thank you so much!! YES, I'm SO excited to make my way to the Californian bookshops on my list. The Last Bookstore in LA (of course), The Iliad, Bart's Books in Ojai is high on my list, Vroman's (Pasadena), Gatsby Books and Laguna Beach Books. Any others that you recommend I add to the list?! xx
I’ll let you know if I can think of any! There is an indie romance bookshop in Culver City called The Ripped Bodice. I haven’t been yet, but I do follow their socials and it looks like a cute spot. It’s been a couple of years since I’ve been to The Last Bookstore. I wish they would dust and sweep a bit more 😆 but it is Downtown LA so 🤷🏼♀️ Definitely has a few bookish photo op spots throughout the huge store. Loved the bank vault portion!
@@louiseclairejohnson OMG I really want to cry for your beautiful eyes they are destroyed by homework and classes.😢 What's your prescription if you don't mind?
Loving your VLOGS Louise plus your ideas and taking all of us along !!!! 🥰📚🤓
