GTA San Andreas - How get the Police Maverick at the very beginning of the game

- One of the best locations to obtain the Police Maverick in while standing on the deck of the aircraft carrier at Easter Basin Naval Station.
Once the Police Maverick is obtained it's very hard to store in a garage, and that's because it cannot be moved with a Tow Truck. In this video I was able to store it at the garage in Doherty.

If you run up the side of the red rail bridge in San Fierro you can also jack a police copter in mid air if you get high enough

I wonder how many people he killed just to get one guy who stole a helicopter and caused some public mischief.
I remember back then when I didn't know how to mod or spawn vehicles and I was too lazy to play to the point of the Flying School so I did this trick everytime I want to use the Police Maverick

So... First, you see a Packer coasting through the take-off and landing strip, then you steal a Police Maverick in one try (show Joshimuz, he'll hate you for that one) and finally the jet that's dogtailing you flies itself into a tall building. Nice one Z!

The problem is that Helicopter is not always there (at top of police department building in Los Santos), i saw it once, then came 2 times with plane to try to acquire it, he was not there. Buggy game indeed.
Most impressive video and I don't think you use a single cheat code... My first time hijacking the maverick was in las venturas off the rock near the dam...lol!! I was excited lol!!!

Think might b2 late 2mention this but the method I found out by myself "no cheats no nothing" was to go to the tallest building and get the parachute, then start getting it wanted level up while u make u way to the airport and then get a plane and land on one of those yellow cranes at the docks! Try landing on the platform cuz u gotta b on the platform in order to get the chopper that’s gon b flyin around! Make sure to b by the end of the platform before the chopper comes that way it can turn around cuz sometimes like if u too close to the crane of whatever u call that thing the chopper'll get stuck under th!

Idk, but i thought an officer just spawned out of the polmav and *bust me instantly* lel.
So here's the deal. When you already get the chopper, quickly go to LS area (city/rural) to find at least 2 police bribes, with so disabling the invisible cops attacking you from inside the chopper.
Enabling 3 star wanted level or more after you did what i said above won't make the cops inside the chopper to attack you again, also the SWAT's won't spawn from the chopper ever again. This is the trick i used to find collectibles early in the game, so you must always let the chopper with you. Don't destroy the San News chopper, or more chances for another polmav to spawn.
