The first song (second), is impressive. It also reminds me of Elliott Smith's "Everything Means Nothing To Me." Which is where I believe they drew their inspiration for "Sonne, Le Glas Funebre."

@@jeffreyyoung4714 This year has been weaker than 2019. I like Paysage d'Hiver Im Wald, Inquisition Black Mass for a Mass Grave, Stormkeep Galdrum, Autumn Nostalgie Esse est Percipi and this album as my Top 5 I think, but I have to look back to cement the list.

This sounds more like post-punk to me. I'm not hearing the BM influence at all, only in aesthetic, maybe...
I would say the surf rock influence is even bigger
All new bands are forcing themselves to make it black. This one too. I hope they free their mind a bit more. Look at the horse galloping sound at the end of the first song, completely ruined the atmosphere. Why not sound of snow, that cracking sound of the snow being compressed under the feet of a hardly walking person, which would exactly fit. Dont get me wrong, trying to be constructive. Bands do not “think” on their music but tend to use some classic templates with the fear of becoming too awkward to the listener. Well mates, that is exactly what you should do. What will you lose? And this third song!!? Wtf is this shit ffs? Now i changed my mind lol. Ding ding. Quality check failed.
