Excellent demonstration. Good to see it done with oil, a lot of videos use water. Really good example of aeration as you can see how the bubbles make their way right through the system...as opposed to the cavitation voids that collapse and disappear wthin the pump.

Is the first one Cavitation ?
Yes. The clear inlet hose at the top shows white bubbly fluid but those are bubbles of nothing basically.

That was built solely for the purpose of showing cavitation vs. aeration out of used parts. It's worked for 10 years so far.
