    ***READ*** UA-cam has updated their ad suitability guidelines and unfortunately this series has been hit hard with restrictions so we had to do a lot of editing for the rest of the episodes for this season 😭 We don’t have any restrictions on Patreon so it’ll always be available on there uncut. Apologies for the inconvenience. We’ll be taking a break from this series once S2 is done so we can get our ad suitability rights back so thanks a lot Mr. Petto SMH

    You two can definitely say it, as two beautiful black queens🌹 you definitely share in our struggles as a people. People forget Ethiopia literally means land of burnt faces and was once applied to the entire continent. As Africans Ethiopia is literally our pride and joy as the only nation to successfully kick the colonizers out of their lands.🖤🖤

    As a black man, I am not for saying the Nword. We cant reclaim something that wasnt ours to begin with, no black person ever called themselves the nword before white people called us the nword so relclaiming is false its acrually just accepted a racist term that was given to us. That being said though, i'll never tell another balck persom they shouldnt say it because we all have choices to make, I am just against it personally and hate when people daying we are reclaiming it and making it into something positive. How can we make the word n*gga positive when racist still call us n*gger to this very day. It would be different if the word died out like 100 years ago and then we decided to being it back, but no, we just adopted a word that was and continues to be used to hurt us. And thats some crazy sh*t and honestly, thats something no other race would probably do on a large scale like we have. Anyway, great video guys, lol and how did some folks think you weren't black

      African in Africa. Hate the word and never use it. Unfortunately, this word and some of the cultural trappings associated with it pervades the younger generations. Its natural to them now thanks to social and American mass media exports.

      Nigga is neither positive nor negative. It has no real meaning. We use it to refer to inanimate objects, animals and people. It can be said out of excitement, anger, sadness, bewilderment, pride or any other emotion similar to the words "whatever" or "okay".
      To reclaim can also mean "to reform", so you're incorrect. All of that aside, if you think hispanics and asian folks haven't reclaimed & rebranded derogatory terms aimed at them then you 1) don't pay attention to many comedians and 2) don't converse about culture with many people.

    You are two beautiful, conscious Black women. You have as much autonomy to use the word as any other black person.

      I think the point is if you are in an environment where its casually used to death, like Riley does in class, you can fall into using it. Its like one form of conditioning gives way to another: Fear conditioning for white people (getting fired, called a racist, it's bad bad bad) and Exposure conditioning (its in constant use with no real gravitas for a supposedly offensive bad bad bad word)

      I believe in this regard, there is an actual divide between African Americans and those in America with a direct African heritage (first gen or within a couple of gens).

    • @WittynotSilly
      @WittynotSilly Місяць тому

      @ettcha in regard to culture.. yes I agree somewhat but even still if your a first gen african raised in america depending on your environment and family dynamic you will assimilate to a degree that you are indistinguishable from AA ( nipsey hussle , tiffany haddish , godfrey , michael blackson ) to name a few

    • @1courtneyjordan

      @WittynotSilly Tiffany Haddish and Nipsey Hussle are half African American. Their mothers are both AA
