Hello, I just wanted to say thank you for the video and review. I honestly just watched this yesterday, and today when I was getting some crap on Amazon I "limited time deal" started on this exact model for $67 😊 - it will be here tomorrow! Tell the hygger folks to give you more biz! Great job! Also, I enjoy your videos and your family is very nice!
I think it would be solid for that. I always have 2 or more pumps in the tank just in case one fails. For the price you could easily buy 2 and set them up to antisync.
@@shallowreefing cool cool ya I think I'm going to get it.... One of my ai Nero died on me today... Im thinking of getting two of these and just leaving the spare nero to hit the lower back of the tank.
I think you would enjoy the AI orbit better.. way easier to disassemble and it’s color coded making sure you do it right. No clunky controller all phone app controlled. Cross flow is ok.. but seems middle of the pack in the gyre type pumps category
Probably so! I definitely would like to get my hands on one. This was given to me for a review. So…. I can’t complain about a free pump 😆. Review is honest though. It’s a good pump for smaller tanks that’s for sure. Hygger is more a freshwater company but they dabble in the saltwater hobby too with some products.
I just got this pump. What do you mean on flow rate and frequency? Are they different settings? I noticed when you hold the mode button it has “A015” and you can adjust. Any idea?
It may be too powerful for that. They have a smaller model I would step down to. You can use the larger model like I have and run it at like 10-20% or buy the smaller model and run it at 30%. You don’t need as much flow for freshwater

Good! You won’t regret it. At that price it’s a steal!
Great Review Mike. It's crazy how the jebao pumps always spark. They need to fix that issue with their pump and I think they would sell a lot more.
Love my jebao but they gotta fix that sparking issue.
@@shallowreefing yes! I actually had one but returned it and got the redsea reef wave 🪸 and haven’t had any issues with it!
Ive got the exact same wavemaker. Its the first one I got. That thing blasts my 75. Going on 8 months and ive never even cleaned it. Still stong flow
Good review Mike
Thanks Wayne!
Will this be good to use on a red sea reefer 350.its a 74 gallon aquarium with a 10 gallon sump

Thanks for the review. How are the noise levels with this pump, as silent as Jebao?
I would say they are quieter. But keep in mind the biggest one is the same size as the smaller jebao gyre. So keep that in mind.

So the frequency is how quickly it pulses
Very nice 👌🔥💯✌️
Can it be good in a 36 gallon tank with being too powerful for my cichlids and awanna

They let off an annoying humming sound
I didn’t hear a hum with mine even at full blast
