Have a quick question for you love your Video especially the music your jammin but anyways I have the same hinge the particles to the wall is firm and the part that swings that attaches to the glass is not moving so I’m kind a lost on how it moves and what am I supposed to do I truly really would appreciate if you could let me know or give me a hint or something because it’s driving me insane thank you
Dear Josh, Video also shows two different types of gaskets. The clear plastic ones and the rubber oil filled ones. I like the black rubber gaskets to be completely over tightened because of the fail-safe result. So if your still needed to know why it was important for me to start bending the hinge till the glass finally failed it was because after I tightened the ever loving hell out of the it it still need more stress than the screws could provide to get it to pop! most go backs this reason.
Why in the hell would you use a impact driver.... You bend the heck out of the hinge and it won't grab the glass You make glazier's look stupid. Big dislike. Wish I could take back the view for the video.......
to make a long story short. at the time 8 years ago sending i was sending My installers back to house's to readjust dropping showers. i needed to prove that it was impossible for the guys to pop glass from over tightening . i am stupid for a lot of mistakes (mostly not paying attention in school) by tightening frameless by hand. to correctly install these hinges you need a special cordless drill called an IMPACT-DRIVER WITH A #3 tip

Nice video!... Thanks!
I'm curious what hinges are best for the doors ? I have been told that pivoting ones are the best, how do you feel about those ? Thanks.
CRL just like the ones you see in the video
