Original Show: Invincible Season 2
My favorite small fact people don’t realize about the Seance dog is the fact that Omni-man was the one who told the Thraxan to use that disguise, and told him the story of Seance dog which shows that Nolan cares about his son more to not only know his favorite character but also the characters backstory
I never thought about it like that but it all makes sense
Sceance dog was the comic that Mark was reading in the first episode of season 1. Easy to miss detail.
@@Dark__Thoughtsreread the comment 🤦♂️
Finally enough I'm usually not super insightful for stuff like this, but I immediately thought of two possibilities. 1. The thraxan saw his poster and figured it would be safe to do so, or 2. What you said about omni man informing him. Which I think shows he noticed things about mark, and we all know he's not the best at making human choices, so omni man probably didn't find that deceit to be bad. And mark did take a bit harsher to that
@@TimothyGod I think he was just being desperate as he knew Mark wouldn't come if he'd asked him directly.
I think the point of Omni-Man requesting Mark's help was because he genuinely wanted his newborn child, wife and all the Thraxan's safe and begged Mark to help him, because he'd be the only one he knew that was strong enough to do so.
SPOILER: Well, more like the only one he felt sure would agree within the time window since the whole "Read my books" thing is so Mark can hunt down strong allies against the Viltrumites.
Yes. Nolan does say that. It was the perfect time in order to save his newborn son, reconnect with Mark and tell him about his books. Mark gets to see what the Viltrumites are truly like which helps in a way as well.
@@flexableferret people hate nolan beacuse they try so hard to see him with human logic nolan is not human he dont have feelings like us they only thing they share is love and for that nolan betray his homeland his people and now he is alone.
Donald stabbed himself to see if he was actually a robot. He saw blood come out and was relieved, but then noticed that the tip of the knife had become dented on something in his arm
This should have been clear to her :/
@@salvadormartinez8577 She confirmed in this video alone that she missed like 6 major points of the show so I wouldn't expect too much of her.
@@salvadormartinez8577she misses 90% of everything for every show and movie she watches
@@kroneexe she spends too much time talking, and not REACTING. It feels forced at times, she will look away from the show and look at the camera and miss 2 seconds of a key reveal.
@@kroneexe She's too focused on bashing Nolan. This story is as much Mark's journey as Nolan's, and she wants to hate Nolan too much to see it. She may have learned this episode though that Nolan was not lying when he tried to tell everyone how the Viltrumites were.
Seeing what she has seen here, and how three Viltrumites were able to easily kill Allen, and then take out Nolan and Mark, even though it looks like Nolan did kill two of them, as tough as Viltrumites are, I would not be surprised if we see one of the "dead" ones back.
Vicki seems to forget that Nolan is a thousand year old alien warrior from a race that conquered half of their galaxy with just their fists.
As a comic book reader, “how is he still alive” was pretty funny. We haven’t even seen the beginning of Viltrumite durability in this show.
I don't think durability is the right word. Durable implies that Viltrumites are difficult to injure, but considering we just saw Nolan slice open another Viltrumite's torso with just a karate chop (something one human couldn't do to another), I think Viltrumites are actually pretty fragile compared to their strength levels. What Viltrumites have instead of durability is resiliency. They can be injured, but they tend to bounce back.
Why are their body so weak? Humans can’t hurt humans the way these viltrumites hurt each other 😂
@@Tantalus010I mean, they still can't be harmed by conventional weapons, accidents, natural disasters, or most beings who aren't Viltrumites.
@@DaneelGiskard-f8ddurable would be like superman. Invulnerable from most attacks, but if hit with any weapon made with kryptonite he would be vulnerable just like human.
Viltrumites even if gravely injured is still have a high chance to recover.
@@knell18897 Viltrumites are invulnerable to most Attacks, plus they don't have a weakness to anything like kryptonite. Plus superman is absolutely vulnerable to other things besides kryptonite. He's vulnerable to other Kryptonians the same way Viltrumits are vulnerable to each other. He's also vulnerable to Daxomites, Bizzaro, Darkseid, Doomsday, and the supernatural just to make some.
It's such a great parallel to see Nolan genuinely care about the Thraxans considering they have a lifespan of a single year.
Remember how Nolan's argument towards killing humanity was "Now or in fifty years, what difference does it make?"
He thought of them like fragile insects that didn't matter. Yet here he is caring about a species that fit those descriptions perfectly
And it puts some viewers in the perspective of old omni man, because ive seen some reactors be like "they're bugs. They only live a year. How can you care about them over humans?"
@@xmant8842 Also some strong reactions about their relationship when they kissed and showed the kid. Imagine swapping her out for a human of African descent and put the same reaction next to it. Whatever you might think of insects on Earth, the Thraxans are clearly highly intelligent, more so than even humans since they're clearly a space faring species. So viewing them like some inferior bug people is highly ironic overall.
Yesss I thought I was the only one who noticed
that is thanks to the bug ldy she is actually very smart
@@xmant8842 facts and they funny think is that they don see that they talk like omni man
"We have dogs"
"Then you're already halfway to understanding!"
I love how mark is giving him Asian look
Remember Nolan over 2,000 years old he had to adopt to the brutality of his people or he would've die during the great purge and any emotion sympathy doesn't fly well in there society but his time on earth did change him
I think the great purge happened before Nolan was born. EDIT: I may be completely wrong, of course.
@@Mansplainer2099-jy8ps We saw the dagger viltrumite in the great purge, so Nolan was probably alive
@@bioinvasion_ I don't think so, I think they sent warriors older than Nolan so they'd be on his level.
@@Mansplainer2099-jy8ps You're probably right :)
He was likely born after the purge, since he told Mark he was born when Viltrum was already a galaxy-conquering empire.
I find it funny that Allen is getting his shit kicked in, being killed, and you’re like “hmm, why mustache?”
Her viltrumite gene is taking over
Fun fact: Thadeus is being voiced by one of, if not *the* best voice actor of our time (imo): Peter Cullen, voice of Eyore from Winnie-The-Pooh, the Predator from the original Predator movie, and of course the voice he became so legendary for: Orion Pax/Optimus Prime in most major Transformers media.
She knows :)
I am going to turn into a truck now
This show has THE BEST voice actors. Mr Krabbs himself Clancy Brown as Krieg. I hope the rest of season 2 has more Krieg.
Also I think Donald was checking if he was really human with the knife not intentionally harming himself.
It’s not that he’s blaming her for what happened. For him, she’s just a walking reminder of his own grief. It’s not right or healthy, but it’s a totally understandable reaction under the circumstances.
He's not blaming her for what happened, only for being to blind to see that it WAS going to happen. Look 20+ years together and Debbie never once had any suspicions about Nolan?? if she truly didn't know it's because she didn't WANT to know. Think about the kind of person you would need to be to be Nolan. he quite literally thinks humanity are pets. they are beneath him. that's NOT a characteristic that you can FAKE not having. No; Debbie was the lucky girl who scored the most powerful man on the planet and was blinded by his pretending to be affectionate. As homeboy tells Debbie she SHOULD have known. Nolan wasn't some friend who pops in every so often. He was her HUSBAND. It's not like the events of the last season was the FIRST time Nolan acted like he was just bothered being around people. He's had moments their entire relationship.
Exactly! He's obviously still grieving, hence why he's still in the group. Some reactors are too harsh on him, without taking his grievance into consideration.
@@patrickcromwell7554 Nolan doesn't think that, idk how everyone keeps missing this, but episode 8 was illustrating his inner conflict with his indoctrination and his love for his family, and even the world he'd come to call home, particularly since in his eyes it was very temporary seeing how long he lives. And none of his "moments" prior to the events of season 1 would even indicate to her that he was an alien conqueror. That's a load of bullshit and victim blaming from another victim of Nolan's actions because they're hurt. It's called scapegoating and it's toxic behavior, who tf is he to judge what she should or shouldn't have known, he knows nothing about their marriage, all he knows about Nolan is that Nolan murdered his wife. That's it. It's okay to be hurt and have those thoughts in your head, but to let them out on another fellow victim just to make yourself feel better is fucked up. Don't make excuses for it.
The thing some people dont get is were it okay to do so, nolan would definitely come back to be with mark and debbie. He loves them and he didnt move on. At this point, hes basically doing the most he can do to be a good person
The self realization of "I need more insults" was great.
I love your Invincible reactions. When are you going to finish season 2!?
For well over 1000 years Omni man has been raised and taught to only kill and conquer so it’s an absolute miracle that he’s feeling any remorse for life at this point so tbh it’s okay to kinda feel for him or at least understand some of his pain.
It’s been 5 months Victoria post the rest of invincible, season 2 please.
what I love about these well-written shows like, The Boys, Invincible, Breaking Bad, and Better Call Saul, is that nothing side of the situation is ever black and white and easy to justify, as those series' go on, everything becomes morally grey
The Boys and Invincible aren’t up there yet. When they finish, we can judge accurately.
@@salvadormartinez8577 after gen-V i can say the boys universe has somewhat entered that gray zone, invincible is still a season off
And it's already becoming boring and oversaturated again, just like the normal superhero movies.
@@Adminium21 you dumb or what?
Not so fun fact about fighting Viltrumites that isn't spoilers but will mark this as spoiler just in case:
As long as their hearts and brains are intact, they can essentially recover from anything. So unless ya got enough strength to get to those organs, they're gonna keep going at ya or recover and come at ya again with a vengeance.
I absolutely cannot fucking wait for you to see the second half of Season 2. It's *W I L D*
This midpoint finale was AMAZING! I can't wait for part 2 of Season 2.
I love seeing them introduce Oliver Grayson (Mark's little brother) into the show. I really like the realism of Mark's reaction to what he's going through when finding out where and what his father has been up to and the realistic anger he has against him. I also love watching Nolan's internal conflict as you can tell how deeply conflicted Nolan is about growing feelings for the Thraxians and the new family he has and yet betraying his people's cause. I'm really interested in where this redemption arc goes for him. Honestly, it has the potential to be as well written as Zuko's redemption arc from Avatar: The Last Airbender. Nolan might actually be my favourite character in the whole show. The fights in this episode were utter and pure RAW BRUTALITY!
Steven Yeun and J.K. Simmons knocked it out of the park when delivering those vocal lines.
Love also saw Debbie finally start to slowly heal after so much suffering. Also, let's take a minute to appreciate how beautiful Nolan and Debbie's opening sections were despite being millions of miles apart but going through the same thought process and watching them both considering suicide was so surreal to watch
Thraxans were the perfect way to show how we wouldn't care if another species died, hell we don't and it's perfectly logical. Most reactors were like "Oh well they die in few weeks so whatever" That's exactly how Nolan felt about humans. And like I said, Nolan isn't 40 year old human. You live for 2000 years, 20 years feel like a vacation.
Also people who think Nolan didn't have to struggle in 2000 years of his life. You are in for a hell wake up call when HE shows up.
Ever wondered why The viltrumites kept calling him "The Great Nolan"?
Definitely hints towards the reason why he could be special
I want to know why but don't want spoilers. Why can't 8 seasons or so of this show just air today?!?!
@@bioinvasion_ If you can't wait, there's still the comic
Stop eluding to things ffs.
@@Dark__Thoughts he aint eluding its an observation. . .they call everyone by name except the general and noan
@@turbulentmind2044 He's eluding to comic book knowledge and you know that too. Stop being willfully obtuse in order to defend spoilers. Just start being a decent human being for once and stop it with this bullshit. I've not seen as many spoilers in GoT and AoT combined as with this show.
I liked Mark's power increase
When he fights it looks like a sequence of superhero poses, and that changes to a more MMA style when he intends to kill
Im new to this channel, Ive just gotta say I love your reactions. Ive never seen someone cry as much as I do during emotional scenes, but laugh so much during the finishers. Its so fun.
The ending with the clones was basically pointing to all the fans who ask "why doesn't he just make an army?" and saying "Sometimes things are they way they are for a good fucking reason." lol
Nolan’s just now having feelings because for his whole life (2,000 years) he’s been trained to not feel and just dominate everything.
Part 3 when?
Having read the comics, all I'll say about Allen and Thaedus is to wait and see.
EDIT: Everyone says Lucan looks like Steve Harvey. I see more Ving Rhames.
The scariest thing about Kregg is that he actually seems more reasonable than the other Viltrumites.
Steve Harvey😂😂😂
Steve Harveymite
REACT TO THE REST NOWWW
I always thought Thula and Azula would get along, turns out they have the same voice actor lmaao
3:39 Funny how she says "plague". If you know, you know...
Okay so, I imagine that if Zod from man of Steel had succeeded the Kryptonians would be just like the Viltumites. Zod himself says that being born and bred to be a soldier is all he knows. So with that in mind he would most certainly be the kind of leder who would simply renmove anyone he deems as weak or unworthy of life. It's actually a part of why he revolted against the Kryptonian council in the first place.
That being said, A Kryptonian can very easily dominate over 100 Viltumites on their own. So just imagine if ALL of the Kryptonians on Zod's ship actually stepped foot ON Earth and just started pacifying the militaries of the World. I mean Clark mnaged to succeed because he was only fighting Zod and Faora. After Faora was taken back to their ship she only came back to try and stopp Lois and the plane from activating the Phantom zone; none of the other Kryptonians save for that one soldier who fought beside Faora got involved. Zod had at least a dozen or so other soldiers with him and possible a couple of scientists. so I'll guess at approximately about 20 - 25 Total Kryptoninas on the ship. Imagine if the were ALL on Earth. Imagine how quickly the planet would surrender. Clark MIGHT bet the better of two (maybe three) of them, but the whole squad of Zod's soldiers??? Not likely.
Perhaps that's why in most stories Whenever Superman discovers the City of Kandor, he makes sure there's a Red Sun close by. They are his people and he knows the vast majority of them are regular citizens; But Clark's just a Kansas farm boy with God Tier power that can crack the planet in half with a single punch. lol so....thousand - possible tens of thousands - of fully powered Kryptonians can be a considerable threat. Just like the Viltrumites.
Bruh I just noticed that young Nolan looks so different here 3:43
I mean, to be fair, Omni-man was raised and brainwashed in a very fascist society, so i think he deserves just a liiittle bit of slack.
27:34 i mean, Nolan might not have known that a child between a thraxan and a viltrumite was even possible.
26:34 its honestly more likely she went looking for mark because she said she tried getting in touch with him
"He helped them
That's not like him"
As if he didn't save people on earth and according to Mark he nearly died on multiple occasions. Guess she forgor.
The absurdly terrible things he did took precedence in her mind. Can’t say I blame her.
@@sofiyanali2489 lol that is nothing nolan has like what more than 2000 years old? his homeland people are like him 9 times more evil lol the fact that he show emotions is wild he was born to take planets
34:05 he meant Mark never deserved to live if he dies during this fight
33:28 side note, and I know empathy for Nolan isn’t really a theme… but I was a soldier. When Nolan says “I’m not supposed to feel this way!” that’s kind of literal; we’re indoctrinated to feel as little as possible from military action. As tough as this is to remember, Nolan saw his ‘limited’ time on earth as military action, and to him it was. He was indoctrinated to feel as little as possible about the repercussions of the after effects of that action.
I’m not making a moral argument, I’m just telling you what governments do to condition their soldiers to survive the actions they (government) send their soldiers to do.
The writers did a 180 on ambers character. They tried to make her more likable.
Wait, is she not likable in the comics? Pls no spoilers

@@do-8900 Oohh okay
I made a post about Comic Amber and Show Amber in the Invincible group on FB and people started gettin outta hand. They had to shut down the comments.
Without spoiling, because it doesn't change anything really, Amber is nicer in the books. That was my main point.
NOBODY EVER LET THIS CINNAMON ROLL WATCH BERSERK.
"She's getting reckless..."
Eve fights too much with her heart. If she fought with her head, she would be unstoppable. She's Molecule Man + Green Lantern.

It's conceivable, certainly, but her power is _always_ on the atomic scale and it's a mental block rather than a written contract so I'd say the odds are against it.

Certainly.
part 3?
It's so strange hearing Optimus Prime's voice come from a normal dude.
Where's part 3???

Banging aliens is TIGHT!
New invincible episode are out
Thedas Prime?? or Optimus Thedas?? Which one sounds better guys?
the black lines under Mark and Debbie's eyes aren't supposed to show they are tired lol, its a stylistic choice to emphasize their Korean heritage
I thought they were pronounced to show that she's worn out from the ordeal.
I think the lines under his eyes faded over the episodes
17:44 I’ve al says looked at it like this; if hitlers wife showed up at a support group for people who’s husbands were killed by Hitler (that’s a Hitler suicide joke btw)…do you think she’d be welcome? Think you’d believe that she didn’t know he was a monster? Think you’d care if she said she was sorry? Think you’d be ok with her garnering the same sympathy as the others? It’s not nice or sweet or soft but that’s the facts of the matter. She doesn’t belong there even as much as she believes she does and it’s not the responsibility of her husband’s victims to forgive or believe her. It’s sucks and it’s raw but it’s real as fuck.
Finally the reaction part I was waiting for !!!
I think this reactions of this show is your best ones🙂 I love following your series and movie-journey❤
Holy crap Bobby Hill! Hahahaha!
I knew I saw a resemblance to another cartoon character!
I think Donald is the improved version of that metamorphic humanoid thing.. that cecil created !
what do you mean nolan never had a challenge? You know how viltrumites are selected right?
Omni-Man was completely broken, depressed, and lost of what he’s done and almost killing Mark so he left Earth because the tragedy he caused and wanna start anew, plus become a new person. Since he left he actually feels other emotions and love that he never felt since being loyal to the Viltrum Empire.
And plus all male Viltrumites grew mustaches as a sign for manhood
for those orchestra nerds, rudy was listening to Till Eulenspiegel by Strauss lol 10:30
I don’t think he actually meant they all look a like. It was something like saying “all you cops look the same to me” 😂😂 i just found it funny because she said the mustache is the reason they all look the same 😂
About 20 years ago my sister‘s ex got shot in his back and while he was running. He was literally holding his guts as well. At first he didn’t even know they were out until one of his friends told him that his guts were hanging out.
Not gonna lie, i thought part two was the rest of the half episodes like 5-8
“I cant forgive Omniman. ….?Omniman is trash” hi! Welcome to the plot of invincible! You gonna be green ghosts husband?
I was just listening to some older music from the end of the 90's and I thought I would make this suggestion before I forget it because it is fresh in my mind. I wouldn't mind seeing you do a reaction to the movie "The 13th Floor" It is from 1999 and stars Craig Bierko, Vincent D'Onofrio and Gretchen Mol
Now that I think of it 1998 & 1999 were great years for really out of the box movies. I mean in 1998 we got Dark City and in 1999 we got The matrix, The 13th floor AND The Phantom Menace. We also got Mystery Men, The Mummy, batman Beyond: Return of the Joker, The 13th Warrior, Wing Commander, Fight Club, The Spy Who Shagged Me.....Sorry 1999 was just a great year for movies. We also even got Lost in space in 1998, with Mathew LeBlanc and William Hurt with Gary Oldman.
I just discovered your chanel after your collaboration with Natalie and I love your reaction so much ! Just finished with all your invincible ones and now I am starting the Last of Us! Can’t wait to see more of your work

Season 2 will be back on March 14!
Gotta give it a chance tbh I know Nolan is better than he was before yeah he did things he can’t take back but I believe he made up for it and it kinda reminds me of kratos from GOW he made mistakes but he’s better than before
lol, did she talk over the book part and missed she threw them out after it was said that mark needed to read them?
Can't wait for second part of the season. I wonder why didn't they release the whole one?

I'll bet that both Maulers were always BOTH clones and that there's actually an original person somewhere monitoring them. The important things to keep in mind with Nolan is that he is over 2,000 years old. He has grown up and been taught to live as this conqueror most of human history. It's not all his fault that he's the way he is. Although what he did on earth is unforgivable, the fact that he is having this change of heart at all is almost impossible. He is having to unlearn everything he has ever known. That is no small feat.
That's been flying over her head since season 1.
Steve Harvey.

Nolan wasn’t abusing Debbie I think he was more like kuro from one piece hiding in and I think he loves Debbie even when he called her a pet but I think it’s was out of guilt because I was catching lies on that one
Yo optimus prime is the old man on the counsel
I am liking the Mauler twins more and more
VKunia comments on Omni man like one of her relatives was on the train he destroyed
Amber was dramatically changed this season to be more understanding, cause she behaves entirely different, as she was SUPER TOXIC in season 1. I guess we can't have negative females anymore.
Also, you shouldn't simplify things so much. Nolan has been trained for milennia in Viltrumite values. You can see similar cases in real life with religious or political fanatism. Now imagine 2000 years of that. Plus, he is also an alien from a different culture. His values are going to be far from yours. That's the point. That Nolan actually starts having a change of heart, even if very slowly, speaks volumes on him.
Nolan is a good a character as you get in this universe. Mark isn’t any better than his father at all.
