- Nigella takes a trip to her Grandparents' old house to meet up with siblings and recall old memories of their grandfather, Felix Salmon. Nigella's brother Dominic remembers him as being a quiet man, who was happier buying art than running corner houses. They also discuss his time in the war and how the experiences changed his life forever.

The house is beautiful. Nigella’s brother has a sharp memory and looks exactly like his father. And fun fact: his wife Rosa and Princess Diana were close friends, with Diana serving as godmother to her daughter.
I’ve always wanted to go back to my grandparents house.
I was always told by my Grandmother you should always know where you've from to know where you're going. My mother always used to say yesterday's is today's history and tomorrow is today's future.
Such precious memories we have of our grandparents' house!
Nigella’s siblings are as beautiful as she is! I love her so much. I have followed her for many years. I wish her and her family the very best in life.

Weird how although Nigella insists she was called Nigella because her father Nigel wanted a boy. But her sister was named Thomasina another male name feminsed. And her sisters name Horatia another male name feminized.. Sounds like it runs in the family. Nigellas so own daughter is Cosima , yet Another male name Cosimo feminised
well noticed, my Mums family seem to have themed names in that they mostly begin with J or G because there is no J in the Italian language.

Y do they address their grandparents by name? It’s like they r strangers to them.
is it their grandqarents though or just the folk who now live in the grandqarents house? although - "its been 35 years since last visited Felix and Rosemary" oqening words. but then Nigella says, "thank you for letting me come" as if she has been qreviously banned or estranged. I noticed.
It maybe just depends on family relationships. My uncle grew up calling his parents Hugh and Joyce instead of mum and dad as they insisted their children called them by their names. We all found it strange in our side of the famliy 🤣

Well, I am almost positive they were Asked if Nigella and her family could visit. Some people are open hearted and generous and understand that memories are precious. If you can help someone by letting them visit a place that had importance in their life, why should you hold back? What goes around, comes around.

She's a famous chef and cookery writer in the UK
Nigella Lawson. She’s a cookery writer of easy, yummy recipes, has sold millions of books worldwide and has had a hit TV cookery series running for years that is shown around the world. Her father (Lord) Nigel Lawson was a highly successful Chancellor of the Exchequer under Margaret Thatcher, her brother, seen here, is a national newspaper editor in the UK. Her first husband, who died, was a famous journalist. Her second husband was Charles Saatchi who founded the famous global advertising agency and London’s Saatchi Gallery. She’s one of a famous family of high achievers all round, even the non-famous ones have all done interesting things with their lives.
