It was a little flimsier than I expected. I had to add a 2x2 piece of wood to the bottom on the rear side in order to stabilize it better ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxXTh-lz-8W6GcB219vTLp27-MxbZYObBX . It is also starting to bow a little at the outer wall ( I've had it up for about 6 months), I've already had a shelf tumble down because of the bow and the fact that the little shelf brackets are quite short. I went out to home depot and got some longer ones so that the shelves don't tumble down again. Overall, it looks very nice for the price and it holds a lot ( I use it as a pantry). I am very satisfied with my purchase. I just strongly suggest reinforcing it before putting it up.
I made this following your directions about 2 years ago and i have to let you know it is fantastic. I use it all the time, all the drill bits and drivers are all there, it's so sturdy yet easy to move around. Your directions were great so it was easy to build, thank you so much !!! Glen.... Drew, just bought the plans from you last night - more to support what you're doing than the actual need for the plans, I could have designed my own. In the future I would suggest a cut list added to the plans. It's just a nice added feature and I would have paid a bit extra for. I already went ahead and put one together I could send it to you to add to it if you want. Beyond that, thanks for what you're doing by contributing to woodworking as a community instead of as a bunch of individuals stuck in our own shops by ourselves.
Hey thanks a lot Will. I am starting to put cut list on my plans now. My tablesaw plans that I've been working on for days now I am composing cut lists for that. Look for that in the future. Thank you!!!
I just had an "ah ha" moment. My new K5 will have a new place to live! Thanks for the inspiring idea! The only change I will make is to cut the bottom piece a little longer so I can clamp the jig down on my bench.
Ok, one Boom per episode.... I can live with that. Nice project. One I might even build for myself eventually. The only change I think I will make is, add a couple inches to each end of the bottom piece of plywood to clamp it to the workbench. Rock-on!
Drew, I used my HF pocket hole jig this morning making some door frames for my cabinets in the shop....worked just fine, and used 1" sq headed screws w/glue. Panels will be pocket holes for mounting some tools on hooks.
I have been pondering the kreg and wondering how to better handle all the stuff. This looks like a wonderful idea. I am already thinking of ways to make it fit my needs. Thanks for putting it up.
Hi. Just to thank you. I recently received from USA my kreg jig and I wonder trough web looking suggestione on its use and you gave me the solution!😁😁😁 I envy you so much, here is such a difficult to achieve woodworking Tools especially from abroad! I feel as I live in Uganda and not in Italy! Thx again warmly from Italy Christian
GREAT design and a smart way to have your jig and screws all "at the ready" Found your channel through Jay Bates kitchen project link. I subscribed so keep the vids coming!!
Very good well thought out design. I would add a tweak: since you have already cut the sliding dovetail for the jig mechanism, put another pair of miters below the top ones, and you can stow the jig there, avoiding protrusion (sesquipedalian for *bump*) on the top of the cabinet. Can't do it on mine, it's already built.
Great job! I like it...... May need to build one of those puppies. Although I never have good luck with pocket holes on half inch material. Thanks for the video!
Very nice video. I've had a table saw for a decade and just don't use it because I really don't know how to cut straight reliably, but seeing all your jigs has really opened my eyes. I don't know if you have videos on what jigs a budding woodworker needs, but it would be nice to know what kind of jigs are out there and how we can make them. You can have a video for each one. I hope this is something you can do, I have some projects on my list and they aren't going to get started because I know I can't reliably cut the wood. Also, I didn't really understand all that stuff about the right/wrong saw blade. What you said would be something that never world have occurred to me, maybe a video on that too? :-)
Good Stuff Drew. I'll have a new Kreg Jig system integrated with my assembly table system posted next month...for those large projects that need longer suppose ;-)
First time viewer. Excellent video! Recently, received my Kreg K4 and, now, I know how to improve it. Thanks! Thumbs up. Subscribed. Going to your website now.
That's nice. I just have mine mounted to a sheet of ply with the stop that comes with the ib on one side and a block I made on the other side so large pieces have something to rest on.. Thanks for the video
Today I made four doors for the shelving above my computer desk; pocket holed, doorskin panels which were painted to match the walls.....installed tomorrow Sunday/9/20.
Nice!! once I get some time I'm going to makesome time to make one. Right now I have it mounted to a 2 by 8 and clamp it down to my bench. it's not working out anymore. ( having to go back and forth to my toolbox for screws) this is a good idea!
Nice, I have seen others that I was not a fan of, but this one I think I will be making. I am going to be trying to get to Kansas city for that and to hit Smoking Guns BBQ, what a great weekend that will be :)
nice cabinet setup, I think I'm going to build something similar....something thats bothering me though, is the ring your wearing, not while your using power tools or around machinery. bad combination, I've seen it first hand.
Great shop project, Drew. Very inspiring. Im thinking about building one myself. I would love to come to WWIA, but it is to expensive to come from Germany to America. Maybe next year. Greetings, Daniel.

Great job Drew! Very nice project. Love the enthusiasm and energy that you have towards woodworking.
Thank you very much, I try and bring as much to the table as I can.
As a newbie Kreg user and woodworker, I got more good ideas from this video than just the jig holder. Now a subscriber. Thanks for making this!

How come I am just now seeing your UA-cam site for the very first time 3 years later in October 2018? Awesome!
Thank You!!! Glad you like it.
Fantastic! Really am quite blown away with all this stuff.
That's a nice jig Drew. I really like the drawer idea.
Built this from your plans. Only took about an hour to make. Thanks for providing me an all in one package for my Kreg stuff.
That’s awesome, you are very welcome and I’m glad you like it
You are so right about drawers verses lids!
Slide out idea is excellent, nice job.
Just wait, I have a 2.0 version that will be coming soon
Love the fixture!!Great idea and design!I especially liked the idea of the dark plexi as dividers!!Genius!!!!
So glad you liked it! Thank you for watching and sharing!
That's awesome! Just got myself a kreg jig last week. Thinking it probably needs a home like this one. Thanks for sharing the video.
Ok, one Boom per episode.... I can live with that.

+Joseph Mulherin Sweet! That's awesome! Great they are working out for you!

Pocket Screws... FTW!
Better than my solution, which was to screw the jig to a piece of plywood. Nicely done!!
Thank you! That was my old way.
Love the nice practical design and your presentation is always top-notch! Looking forward to your next vid already!
My first time seeing one of your video and I thought the design was excellent and plan on creating one for my small shop. Excellent job
Hey Anthony, great to have you. I appreciate the subscription and thank you for sharing!
Nice! I glued mine as well a pocket screwed it. It's STRONG, to say the least.
I have been pondering the kreg and wondering how to better handle all the stuff. This looks like a wonderful idea. I am already thinking of ways to make it fit my needs. Thanks for putting it up.
You are very welcome. Thank you for watching and sharing!
That's an excellent idea I have to make one for my shop. Keep up the good work.
I think I just found my next project. Really cool idea!
nice job on that cabinet, after watching it i subscribed to your channel and looking forward to watching more from you
Aweasome setup. I'm starting to get addicted to building jigs. lol now I can build a jig for the jig.
Great jig. I had to build one myself to get better support but kept all my screws and everything in a Kreg tool box. Thanks.
Yeah, I used to keep all of my screws in a drawer in my tablesaw cabinet. Kind of made it inconvenient when I went to go use it
Looks great Drew! I did the flip top for my Kreg jig...I might have to reconsider now...Thanks!

I like this, Drew! It's definitely different from those I've seen. Nice job, bro.
Awesomeness........I really dig the removable kreg!

That Jig Looks Awesome !
+Khosrow Jalali Thank you!!! I love to use it
Excellent vid, Like the kit you've made
Awesome job Drew. I've been learning a lot from your woodworking videos. Thanks!
DIY PETE Thank you Pete. your video equipment gave me a lot to think about.
Sounds good to me. I am based in Oklahoma. Moore to be exact!
DIY PETE .
Great job! I like it...... May need to build one of those puppies. Although I never have good luck with pocket holes on half inch material. Thanks for the video!
Well I had a couple of issues with penetration of the screw. But nothing a file can't fix especially since I am going to paint it.
Have my kreg mounted on a piece of 1×8. Like the idea of all in one location. You right, you can always improve your 'tool'.🚹
I’ve improved this cabinet recently too. 🤣 I guess I’m never satisfied. Hope you get to improve yours too.
Great job man! I like it a lot. You can also do kinda the same thing with and assembly table.
Thanks a lot Justin. You are right that would be something cool to have in an assembly table
Nice project .first I need to get the Kreg Jig. I make Adirondack chairs and it would be nice to use one of these Jigs to hide some of the screws.
What a great idea!! Gonna have to make one of those myself.
+jimgam730 It is a cool addition to the KJ
Cool Jig man. I love my Kreg Jig. I need to make something like this for it.

Actually Joey there are some videos that I intend on doing to give people things to consider including sawblade selection.
Good Stuff Drew. I'll have a new Kreg Jig system integrated with my assembly table system posted next month...for those large projects that need longer suppose ;-)
Brian Seitz Cool, can't wait to see it.

I really like that one. Great job!
That's nice. I just have mine mounted to a sheet of ply with the stop that comes with the ib on one side and a block I made on the other side so large pieces have something to rest on.. Thanks for the video

I love the design - will base mine on this one. Thank you for sharing!
Excellent video and jig, I look forward to learning from you. Thanks
Today I made four doors for the shelving above my computer desk; pocket holed, doorskin panels which were painted to match the walls.....installed tomorrow Sunday/9/20.
Nice work Drew. Just might use your design this summer. Jeff
Cool, send me pics when you do!
That is really clever. I really like the ability to be able to remove the Kreg tool. Now that is someone who does woodworking.
Love the idea. I will need to make one for my Kreg Jig.
very nice work you do love your woodwork show.
Thank you Shane!
Awesome, can't wait to make one.
Just recently found your channel here and I have to say I really enjoy your videos keep up the good work ..I'd like to have that table saw

Which kind of Kreg jig do you use??? Because it has the handle to catch the board in the front side, really comfortable!!!
This was a fabulous project!!! Very well made!!! I was really impressed with that jig you used to make those angle cuts!!! How did you make that???
I actually did a video on it very recently. It is called edge banding miter jig
NICE JIG !!!!
simply brilliant
Cool features in this Drew.
Gail was concerned you might have accidentally swallowed a thesaurus or dictionary ;)
I LOVE the part when you undo the "we're gonna attach with biscuits" LOL I almost clicked out of your video when you said that. LOL
What kind of plywood was that? I have some but it's a lot rougher looking...
Cool project. Nice way of improving a nice tool // Como mejorar una gran herramienta (kreg jig)

What kind of tape measure are you using? I need a good one, yours looked like it shows all the measurements.
It is a fast cap righty lefty tape measure. You can find them on rockler.
