Just remember that the more scars somebody has the more stories the body can tell. Whether it be to your lover, a doctor, or the mortician at your life's end. Stories are fun to tell, nice to read. Life is boring without scars, just as it is without stories. Your body is like a book, the scars your life's plot. A body with no scars is boring, just as a novel without a story is useless. Tales as old as time made with tightly woven threads that come together within a beautiful tapestry to tell one secret, your precious life. It is filled with the beauty of sorrow, happiness, anger, sadness, tragedy, misfortune, love, admiration, creation, and pure unbridled joy! Such things can only be beautiful! Never feel ashamed of a beautiful thing. Because scars, like stories, carry and uphold the purest elements of what makes us human, the proof that we have lived. Proof of love, pain, and emotion! Trust me when I say whether it be stretch mark, burn scar, self harm, abuse, accident, assault, surgery, or birthmark, the people that see them can only see them as evidence that you are an individual that has experienced the beautiful cruelty that life has to offer. Never call the letters of your novel of life unsightly, because they are anything but. I hope this helps you feel better about them!
