Isnt it odd that none of the plants are moving? Even if there was zero wind (which would be odd in a rain storm) the rain itself would cause the plants to move.
It's definitely edited. Probably a backdrop still of the forest, with the sky, lightning, rain, and interior shot on top of that. The lightning strikes, for example, loop every 20 seconds or so, by my estimation.
