Every country should be independent as variety is the spice of life.

If there is any country that knows how to recognize an invasion, it's Poland.
They're not too bad at fighting against them either. Contrary to popular belief, they put up a much stronger defense against Germany than was expected, so much so, that Hitler's generals started to get a little worried that maybe they weren't actually prepared to conquer Europe.
The Poles got double teamed from both sides and lived for years under the Soviet boot. Now they're free and they're not going to take shit from the Fourth Reich. I don't blame them. They should pull themselves out of the grip of the EU with all they have, using deadly force if it comes to it.
@@TheGreenKnight500 believe me, I know. My great-grandmother on my father's side was an immigrant from Poland and made sure we knew how proud she was of it and Polish history. The only reason she left was because of Poland finally falling to Hitler.
And then there was the small matter of being literally on point to break the Ottoman Empires attempt to spread there religion of peace by sword and fire with the largest heavy cavalry charge in recorded history.

When you are off the map for 123 years and then get back up then surely you needed some pride to accomplish that.
When for literally generations it was all we had, we are not going to simply get rid of it.
I love seeing Polish flag in USA - sometimes even in random situations, as I feel that the flag as a symbol of our ideals and our identity is something that is common between us. Sure, there are some "people are using flags as a smokescreen" sentiments too but in general the flag symbolises us so all "flag is evil" sentiments are obviously out of the question.

Tbh man as an American who spent time in Eastern Europe recently, I didn't think the quality of life was that awful from what we have in the US. And it was so fucking therapeutic to be inside a society that wasn't infested by intersectional neo-liberalism and progressivism. The people are so much happier, it's contagious. When I came back and was re-exposed to it it made me fucking sick.

I lived in Poland from 1999 to 2004 and I've been with my Polish wife for 20 years. When I first visited back in 1997 and my friends here in the UK asked 'What's it like?' I told them 'It's like England used to be 50 years ago'. Wish I'd never left.

The song at the end is one of many Polish catholic religious song sang in Churches and gatherings when Poles celebrate their independence or any day in calendar when they pray for well-being of Polish nation.
Poland was the only occupied country who never singed a surrender after it fall to Nazis hands, had the 3rd largest military personnel serving on alongside western allies. And we had 1st and 2nd Polish Armies that fought alongside Soviet Union.
And our partisans in Underground Army called Armia Krajowa ( AK ) had 300k military and civilian personnel serving in it.

The song at the end is a catholic hymn to Mary, who since the Middle Ages has been regarded the Queen of the Polish nation.
