Thank you, try to heat the black tape/sticker with a hair dryer so you can re-use it.

But what about cleaning rest of the body. Can we able to put the whole rear case in to the Isopropyl alcohol once we removed the battery? for example, headphone jack, speaker taptic engine etc..

You can put the whole rear case into 91% alcohol but speak part will reconsider(maybe only for short cycles).

Thanks for the quick response!! Can you please advise what liquid are you using in the ultra sonic cleaner?
I am planning to remove the black thin shield in the back of the mother/logic board before ultra sonic cleaning. What glue can I use to put it back? Is this LOCA glue?

Liquid I use is 91% alcohol, you can remove black thin shield by heating it up first with hair dryer then put it back with its original glue.

Sir,
i got my iphone 6 water damaged six months ago. The phone became hot and screen turned off. Unknowingly, I kept charging. My logic board got shorted. Is the method u followed will work? Is soldering of certain pins in the capacitors on the logic board required or just dipping in alcohol would be enough?Is cleaning with brush enough or is it compulsory to use ultrasonic cleaner?

Most likely you have shorted the board by charging your iPhone. You can try ultrasonic cleaner but by brushing with alcohol is not going to work. I tried that previously and didn't work for me so I try ultrasonic cleaning it bring back iPhone working again.

Good day. My question before I start is. When doing the 3 minute increments...do I remove it from the solution or stop the vibration?

You put in your mainboard/circuit board/logic board into your ultrasonic cleaner after fill up with 91% Alcohol then you set 3-minute for each cycle for total of 10-cycle. My ultrasonic vibrate at the same time during cleaning process. You must set vibration on for yours if you have that option or else your board can not be fix properly.

You can try it without using ultrasonic cleaner but it depends on how bad is your board got water damaged.

You can try to clean with alcohol first with a used toothbrush but gentle with the circuit board.

yes, use gloves and scrub with toothbrush , then let it dry, if u have air compressor it will speed up the drying process, after spraying with air let it sit for about 10 minutes to insure no liquid
