My Backyard Birds

I have various types of birds in my backyard, blue jays, cardinals and such. I mix my own suet and originally had the feeder hanging from my deck but the stupid squirrels would devour it in no time. So I used a 1/16" cable from the local hardware store and ran it between the clothes line post and my shed, then I wrapped some wire around it in the form of a loop where the feeder can hook onto. This is in the exact location where I can see the feeder while sitting on the couch. So far no squirrels have made it to the feeder.
I know this is quite different from my how-to videos but several people have asked me to put this out there, so here it is.

Very nice Paul. I have a similar feeder, the squirrels can't get to it but I have watched a few chipmunks literally make a leap from the tree and grab on to the rails, hang on while it swings around and then grab some food and jump to another branch.
