As I remember, I know James and royal pirates back then around 2009-2010 when their group covering Suju - sorry sorry in rock version, snsd - genie rock version. And couple years later they made debut in Korea as band, but not that rock. And I remember too, James had car accident and make him hiatus. And he out from royal pirate.
But now, i'm glad he make music again. Because he's genius. I love his single in royal pirate "Betting Everything".
Not exactly. James had an accident where an overhead door at a restaurant slammed down on him and almost completely severed his left hand, leaving him unable to play guitar/bass any more, and dealing with constant pain. After trying to continue with RP on keyboards for their 3.3 album, he decided to leave the group and return home to LA. Since coming back home, he's slowly gotten back into music, and I absolutely love it! I'm so glad to see him doing well, and making music again, because he is incredibly talented.
[Sidenote: RP is no longer active, as Sooyoon is currently enlisted. Moon is writing music for a variety of artists. Hopefully once Sooyoon is discharged, RP will resume in some form, but nothing is certain.]

I can't stop thinking about my late grandfather while listening to this song. He always had a way of making me feel better when I was having a bad day, and he didn't ever have to do anything more than let me sit next to him. I feel so alone with him gone because now I have no one to help me get through my bad days anymore. Whenever I think of him, all I do is cry. I miss him so much, and I thank you for this song, and for it making me think of the only good person I ever had in my life. It let's me know that the feeling I thought was gone is still there. It makes me feel again. I love you so much James, thank you for being nobody but who you are!
