06:30, had a chat with a good guy at BMW Motorrad He said it would cost more for the buyer as to put TFT because when BMW will do it it has to be trustworthy and it is also about internal things as well like wiring and RND which will increase the cost of the bike more
CB300R vs G310R owner perspective. 1. Engine- CB got potent top end and BMW got punchy mid range and awesome throttle. CB is smoother with less engine noise that you cant tell if its running at 100kmph and BMW will become smooth almost like CB but only after 10k kms. Vibration is not an issue with any of them but CB feels the smoothest here. 2. Exhaust- CB sounds smoother. BMW sounds gruff in idle but sounds exciting when you wring the throttle. 3. Comfort- CB is refined and okish suspension comfort. BMW is the winner here with the best suspension and seat. 4. Handling- CB is best in city compared to any 150cc to 400cc segment and BMW got best stability and makes you lean it a lot more. 5. Maintenance- both will cost almost the same. Cons- Worst headlight in CB and worst tyres in both. Had to swap it immediately after purchase. Road 5s are the best for these bikes.
It's not about the logo , it's all about satisfaction, value for money matters in my concern 😊 Strell bro , your efforts are always appreciated, big fan always ❤
I hve been riding this bike almost 1.5yrs and still there were no issues from the bike . A complete perfect motorcycle form BMW ,and the only issue i had faced is the heating..! Apart from that it’s just awesome, and the brand which gives more value and confidence ❣️
@@3rdclasstatamahindrabajajRE tbh if you can find a good old cbr250r, that could be a steal even in 2023. Or if you wanna go for a more sportier bike then you'd go with ninja 250r. Hell you can buy both used and still have money for a cbr150r if you were gonna buy a 310 cc bmw anyways.
Hello Strell, hope you are doing well. Can you please make a revisit on the Benelli TNT300 ? Used bikes are going for fairly good prices & I'm very much interested in buying one (upgrading from a Yamaha RX) due to reviews on how smooth & calm the engine is, touring performance, seating comfort.etc, I'd love to hear what you have to say about that bike in this day and age.
BMW G310R has lowest seat height of 785mm in 300cc segment.. You can go for Bajaj Avenger if you like those kind of bikes. I'll suggest first go for test drive then decide the bike. I'm actually in the same position as you 😅 Also get yourself a boot that will increase your height by 1/2 to 1 inch. This will help definitely in handling
@@shubhxl07 Or... you can learn to ride tall bikes, it's not that hard. Granted I'm 5'9" so I can't comment from your position, but I've seen plenty of people who are 5'2" or 5"3 riding tall bikes comfortably. 95% of the time you won't be touching your feet on the ground anyways. The 5% is what you need to learn, which includes your starting and stopping positions. Only time it's really annoying is during traffic, but with practice -- its easily doable. Don't let your height restrict you from choosing a good bike just becasue it appears hard to ride.
Don't buy either, get a VStrom 250, take a test ride of it. Great on road and decent off-road. Super reliable and performance is wonderful. Save money and get safety gear, accessories etc.
Hi brother, big fan. Please clarify this query to me. I'm a fan of KTM engines and I've heard a lot of negative reviews about its engine life and the engine getting seized within 40 to 50k kms. Im aware that its a high compression engine but does it hold true that the ktms are not reliable over the long run i'm genuinely interested in getting a duke 250. Please throw some light on it. It would be great to have your feedback on this Cheers man
It's true, KTMs won't be as reliable as a Japanese bike. But they're fun bikes and if you're set on it, don't be disheartened by the negative reviews. The owners manual is like the holy book for any bike, follow the service schedules properly and use appropriate grade of the engine oil. Timely replacement of the engine oil is crucial for longevity of any engine. Since it's a high CR engine, use RON95 fuel to avoid engine knocking and possible adulteration.(both of which will do extensive damage to an engine in the long run)
bruv, instead of using much, much much, much much much comfortable in all your videos, maybe you should consider using fairly comfortable, quite comfortable, very comfortable, extremely comfortable. good reviews tho. cheers.
People who are buying the bike are only buying cause it comes with a badge. If BMW is serious, they need to get down to serious business with TVS and update this motorcycle before the new Duke comes in.
I am plannig to buy a 300 cc . I will mostly use for city ride and sometimes touring purpose. confused between CB300r and G310 R . which one should I buy?
As a G310R owner myself,I would say get a CB300R, eyes closed. It looks better(my opinion). Much more refined than the Beemer and is a lot lighter as well. It would also be cheaper to maintain since it's a Honda and service is definitely much less expensive compared to the Beemer. The only downside would be the slightly smaller fuel tank and a slightly stiff suspension.
For touring I wouldn't consider the cb300r. It's a bit too small to carry luggage and a bit too light to handle crosswinds at highway speeds. You will have a pretty bad experience on that bike in terms of touring, as it's made primarily only for city commute. I suggest looking at the Suzuki vstrom 250 as well, very solid bike

BMW each service costs 7-8k.
What? Honda service is far reasonable than BMW's overpriced service. Rip off.

All good. Engine noise is something annoying and I dont personally like it. After riding for long duration the noise becomes worse🫤
