There's also a cool line on the clear piece you hold down with your finger. It'll be great for matting photos!!! You can line up your photo on the inside of the line or the outside of the line depending what size mat you like around your photos. Perfect for us "old school" matters who stick the picture down on the paper first then cut down the mat. I hope this makes sense.

Ordered mine yesterday. I will miss the drawer, but I still have the purple photo cutter that was nice for storing pens , pencils , cutters for the templates and little things in the drawer . Having to always have a cutting mat is also a con for me .I am looking forward to being able to cut those special sizes that are already marked on the base, and the plastic that holds the paper or picture down for cutting.
I thought you were only supposed to use the photo trimmer for photos only and not paper. Over the years, I was told it’s a different type of blade and using paper will dull the blade. Is this true with the new photo trimmer?
The Micro-Tip scissors are SOLD OUT so that's why those bundles w/scissors are sold out. On the CM website it shows the Micro-Tip Scissors as 'Returning in December".
