    Thank you! I usually get what I need by reading the manual. I've taken a class with my machine, but I was having a problem with one particular part of threading the machine. A brief comment from Struckmann and the light came on for me! I understood it perfectly then! I am so very grateful for this video!

    I inherited one of these, I'm pretty good with mechanical equipment, but we couldn't find the manual, and I had always used an old industrial 5 threader, so your tutorial was a real help, clear, simple, and I got it all cleaned and threaded up in no time! tnx

    I have broken 6 needles until I just used the round knob to slowly turn and find that the loopers are hitting my needles... I don't understand how it is so close and hitting the right or left hitting. I thought perhaps the needle was not pushed up all the way, but it was. What do I do??

      Had the same issue which none of these videos address. I spoke to Mary at Baby Lock this morning and she pointed out that the thread from the lower loop must go over the top of the upper loop or the threads will bind and pull the #2 needle to the left and snap it off. Her solution, which I used and it works, is to cut off both the tails on the upper and lower loop threads at one inch and they will take care of themselves. Fascinating that no one would explain this basic but extremely important step in threading the serger.

    Hi. I recently inerited one of these and I’m trying to learn to use it. The handwheel will not turn and the button is seems stuck (can’t press). Any ideas on how to fix it?

    i've been trying and I don't see the thread pop through. with one pump the thread gets sucked through, then another pump and the thread just sits there, doesn't move. I normally tie a knot and pull through new color thread, but my thread popped this time

    • @babylocksewing
      @babylocksewing  8 років тому +2

      Hi Connie! Thanks for asking! Did you make sure to pull a long enough strand of thread to blow through? I only ask because I've done that before. :) There is also a small possibility of some fuzz build up in your looper tube. In this case, you'll need to thread that looper with the looper wire that comes with your machine and hopefully, that will remove the fuzz. Feel free to contact the Baby Lock consumer help line if you are still experiencing difficulty. www.babylock.com/contact-us/

      :) You do exist! Looper wire sounds hopeful. Not sure if I still have it. Gonna look for it. Thank you so much :)
