The cute story that goes with this song, when they first had the growling backing track played to them, they were very young at the time, Yui, the one with the chubby cheeks that looks like a china doll, got scared and began to cry and asked them never to play it again:) this story was told by Su in an interview, which was a little mean as poor little Yui was right there. The Oni (Ogre) is saying "Are you ready, are you ready?" and the girls reply "No, not yet!"

The red ogre is sad about this and decides to go after them, while the blue ogre seeks peace, hence a game of hide and seek leading to this song. While she is hiding she is saying "鬼さんこちら" or 'hey demon I am here', "手のなる方へ" or 'come to my clapping'.
"Are you ready?! Not yet!" Definitely the most hard-core game if hide-n-seek ever! So, I'm hella late! And everyone has already told you everything about this song. So.. Good to see you back so quickly! I think compilation videos are a bad idea for a band like BABYMETAL that relies so heavily on visual appearance. But the reason that this one in particular drives me nuts is the first guitar solo, when there's a close-up on Mikio who is clearly playing something completely different from the sound that can be heard. This song combines elements of Hide&Seek and a tag game, but also makes references to a tradition on Oga peninsula called "Namahage". Villagers wearing scary masks pretend to be ogres descending from the mountains looking for naughty children and crybabies. They basically scare the children into behaving well. So it‘s a mash-up of different ways to have fun with ogres. :-) What was the other song you tried? Perhaps you can upload it somewhere else and give us a link to it? I'd be interested to see it. There are quite a lot of videos that will get blocked, it's probably a good idea to stick with fan recommendations, we have a pretty good idea what's going to get blocked (although you can never be 100% sure).
