this is my 2nd time watching this episode b/c got interrupted on the 1st try and the food looks even better this time!! also i wanted to compliment your handiwork on the servingware. The brother and father i spoke of in earlier comment both carve and turn wood on the lathe- they have been making musicboxes lately, but have amassed quite a collection of bowls out of boredom and a woodpile that is too big for only 2 people lol... the grain is so pretty in that long dish- it adds rustic charm and warm elegance at the same time to the food presentation- i could see this plating at a swank rooftop bar in a city or at a viking campfire...just beautiful
