I think a wedding is about love and most importantly, the love between two people. In the end nobody cares about colors, flowers etc. There is too much pressure that everything has to be perfect. If you have your loved ones on your wedding you can have amazing time without power/ band and many else.
I 100% agree weddings are about love. Our clients wedding days are ALL about the love. They have the most incredible meaningful days that always bring the emotions ❤️. But if they also want the details too to bring through the personality and story that’s also ok. ☺️
Most surprising was the last one, the cheek!! asking you to go clean a room that they’d turned upside down!! Defo not the job of a wedding planner/coordinator!! Got enough to worry about as it is! I would’ve outright refused to go to the room so fair play to you for actually tidying up the space a bit! I wouldn’t even ask my best friend to do that or anyone!!
I am newly engaged and loving your videos! This video reminded me of my cousins wedding when we were about to begin with speech’s in the marquee but the ice machine in the barn had caught on fire! My Dad, my cousin (brother of the bride), and father of the bride were all rushing around trying to put it out 😂 My cousin had no idea until the next day!
With all due to respect, my employer doesn’t pay for the food in my break. If a supplier is going to be there all day, they should come prepared. Don’t need to sound rude but it kinda sounds entitled, that supplier SHOULD be feed
I did think like you at first... But then I think some suppliers do very long days. We are having a DJ who is only coming for the eve reception and we are not feeding him. However my photographer who is with me all day as she'll come to me when I'm getting ready in the morning we are giving her an allowance for her food which she will eat at the hotel in a separate space during our wedding breakfast. I'll also have lunch made for her when me and my Bridesmaids will also be eating because she's so lovely and is a key part of our day... Really the suppliers are of course doing their job, but good ones will make it feel like they've got your back and more like friends than anything else... Now that I've got to know our photographer I couldn't imagine it any other way ❤ Treat others like you'd want to be treated. Yes I know that is their job but they're human too of course they'll get hungry. NB: we only have a photographer who we are feeding though so I do get it if people have absolutely loads of vendors and are thinking gosh it's a lot of money. We are not paying for our photographer to have a 3 course meal. Just a standard meal at the hotel.
The supplier does not normally specify that they receive the same 3 course meal being served to guests. I've seen sandwich box lunches with a cup of ice water. It's just respectful since they will have no control over when they'll be able to eat and how long. Fifteen minutes of shoving food in my face isn't usual. It would take longer to walk to the carpark for personal snacks that cannot be brought into the working kitchen area.
Which of these surprised you the most?

Omg! Well done team for sorting it!! X
Hearing how much you care and how much you do makes me wish you were in the US so I could hire you for my future wedding 😂
❤️❤️❤️
Why was she in a white dress?! Do people wear white to weddings in the UK? That’s a big fat no in America lol
In the Uk if you wore a plain white dress it would most definitely be frowned upon. But a white patterned dress isn’t a no over here. ☺️
Skip to 3:30 for the actual list 🙄
Where did you get your flamingo Christmas jumper from?
Aww I tried to link it but it’s sold out! 😭😱
Ok

It is definitely advisable to check their contracts as this is the case for a lot of the suppliers mentioned.
In the UK, employers will often feed you to keep you on site.
@@KateHistoryMysteries i’m from the UK. i did feed my suppliers but it’s the entitlement of expecting to be.
