Hey Jonathan, there was a large box of bones on my doorstep (eBay) when I got home today. I let my daughter open each parcel and guess what it was. I’m blown away. You really overdid it. Couldn’t stop smiling. Thanks for sharing your finds with us. I owe you. Our ice age animals are 30’ down.
Hey J. B. I am so glad they arrived safely! We love that our work can help inspire! If there is ever anything else we can do or provide to continue to inspire her don't hesitate to reach out!
Yes, I would love to see the two of you together on all of your posted videos. I love what you find, but I also love the terrain, I've never been to Florida. And lets not forget your knowledge, you always do such a great job of educating us. Hope 2021 if a good year for the both of you!
Def more Kat! Sweet Mammoth tooth. Wow. I found one about that size laying out on a gravel bar here in central Missouri, found a paleo Allen blade witching 10 foot the same day. Keep up the awesome hunts!
I would love to have a tooth like that. I wonder if we find them in new Hampshire ! and Kat is adorable, keep her digging ! And your right, good Gator Decoy..!
Thank you for the adventure and seeing some awesome finds ! Yes would love to see her more exploring with you ! Take care , stay safe and healthy with whatever you and your future wife maybe doing next ! Congratulations ! Doing well here in Kansas .
Wonderful idea to hunt fossils together as a couple, as long as she wants to and enjoys the experience. Wonderful informative videos. You guys be safe and take care.
Since alligators need the hot sun to digest their food and are not actively eating or reproducing young, the winter months are likely the safest time to get into the creeks. Without the hot summer sun to aid digestion food rots in their stomach and they can die. However you guys are smart to be vigilant of them anyway.I am also but feel much safer in winter. Not an expert on these critters but this is what I have learned.Cheers.
I can't believe I recognized that Chub right off! I am getting better at this with good teachers. Great find with the Mammoth tooth. I learned how to tell the difference between Mammoth and Mastodon teeth today 😁
Of course we want to see Kat in more videos! Like you said,, she's cuter! Great finds! The mammoth tooth is incredible! And, like I told you on Facebook,, you don't have as much to worry about from alligators, as you do poisonous snakes! That's why I don't mind alligators, but don't like poisonous snakes! That's not to say I would get in the water knowing there was a large alligator present,, I'm not stupid! 😜
I love your videos so much because you give a lot of the science behind the finds and that is really valuable to viewers! Also, I know you're busy busy busy, but I sent an email in regards to a slab of glyptodon scutes I found. If you get a chance to reply, I would be forever indebted! Thanks!
Thanks very much....Dude l am 81 years old now....An l have learned things over the years l want you to know....When you get married life as you know it will all change it always does l know this because l have been married 5 times....So think about that for a very long while....The very best to you coming up....God Bless you...
Do they have underwater headlamps so you don't need to use your hands for the divelight? I know you have a headgear camera, though, so maybe they dont have a compatible light. Thanks for sharing the fun!
Great video 👍🏻 What a variety of fossils! You both found a huge amount of lovely teeth and bones. The quantity and quality of the finds are amazing 😲 And congrats to your upcoming marriage in November 🤗
I was watching a documentary on the Boneyard in Alaska. They're finding all sorts of fossil and bones. Supposedly they're 50 tons of it in the East River in New York City. I think his name is John Reeves. Interesting story he tells. He's putting on a Bone Rush. Worth millions if you are into that kind of stuff.
How do you tell the difference between full fossils, and sub fossils? I'm sure you find quite a few sub fossils as well as these gorgeous pieces in this video. I just can't find anything on it.
More great fossil finds as usual, but your best find is your gorgeous future wife, treat her well. Congratulations and hope to see you both in your future videos.
Still can't wrap my head around that day. Squashed by giant hypersonic iceberg hail, then torn apart by mega floods. One would think a meteor hitting an ice sheet would be boring. Nope! Good for fossil hunting though.
Doesn't it make more sense that some predatory animal was chowing down on the animals, after bring them back to their lair, instead of "the river broke them"? Why else are so any diverse animal parts found in one area?
Why do you pull up a "dig" to look elsewhere when you find a treasure trove of fossils? Is it simply impossible to find a complete skeleton, so you're happy finding pieces?
@@DiggingScience congrats!! Marrying a woman is one of life’s biggest achievements but marrying a woman who loves fossils is life’s GREATEST achievment!! 😊😂
As a Florida woodsman (65yo) i find myself looking forward to your videos more than any others. Thanks so much.

As always a great video and love seeing what you find on your expeditions. Makes me want to go looking but I would not even know how to begin lol
Your videos are both entertaining and informative, keep them coming please - and bring Kat along for the fun :)
I don't understand how these fragments stay together for so long. It's pretty incredible
For the fossil hunter, every storm cloud has a silver lining.
Water temp is 63 degrees, what thickness wetsuit are you wearing? Congrats on the great finds, especially the little cutie!
Nice hunting i am in Florida and need to start getting out there
Awesome vid as always!
I was that kid who was talking to you about the crystals!
That was awesome how you found that mammoth tooth!
Congratulations on your engagement

That's why we play the game!
And boy is fossil hunting a fun one!
Wow. Cool video. How can I find some fossils? What river is this?

I like your videos, and I think you should get your own TV series 👍👍👍

Still can't wrap my head around that day. Squashed by giant hypersonic iceberg hail, then torn apart by mega floods. One would think a meteor hitting an ice sheet would be boring. Nope! Good for fossil hunting though.

Any gators?..I don't dive in rivers because of that
Man, what would it take to go and hunt with you and your fiance!? Hunting fossils with you sounds better than receiving!
And yes, more cat.
Ok we find alot of those around here and not knowing what they are until now. And we just keep them lying around the house.
I got my husband to watch this video. He was interested but would never do what you do
Hellooooo Kat!
Mastodon man found a piece of a mastodon tooth at least
Of course, what do you think this is! ;)
Do you sell this to fossil era.
Nope its in a drawer under my guest bed!
She likes to do the same as him, you can see why their together.
I'm dying get back in the river 😩
Doesn't it make more sense that some predatory animal was chowing down on the animals, after bring them back to their lair, instead of "the river broke them"? Why else are so any diverse animal parts found in one area?
Have either of you had any college education in geology or paleontology?
FIANCE?! did I miss a video or something
We got engaged right when I started making videos! Getting married in November :)
Why do you pull up a "dig" to look elsewhere when you find a treasure trove of fossils? Is it simply impossible to find a complete skeleton, so you're happy finding pieces?
You make a lovely couple and I think Kat is a nice part of your video's.
"it only has happened once before" hmmmmm
Yo nice hair cut my man oh and can let joe know i love him lol
Will do but I can't imagine his response ;)
When are you getting married? She’s been your fiancé for a while!
