Where I live, a single copic marker or recharge can cost 2 percent of the averege country salary, it's simply absurd. But the price tag is not the only issue, since recharches fill up the pen about 5 to 6 times, and the full cost will get smaller with time, compered to buying a new pen every time you run out. The other problem is fiding a lot of options of colors to choose from. It takes a long time for local stores to import them and many colors are sold out in weeks after they arrive. It's only viable if you have a decent budget or buy them slowly, and if you use this media all the time. I use alcool markers a lot for academic work, but I haven't got a copic marker yet because I can't invest without being sure I will be able to find the recharges. But once I find a good source, I will buy them very slowly until I get at least 36 to 72 colors for work, becouse it will keep geting cheaper and cheaper to just buy recharges and New leds
